You guys gotta update your prices on your board with the food truck. I purchased $16 brisket tacos and got charged $18.56 today. Tax is not that much. And for 3 tacos, that’s really expensive. I wasn’t offered a receipt today, so I was bummed to pay so much. If I had known it was going to be that much more, I wouldn’t have done it.

We absolutely loved it and thought they gave generous portions of everything. Everything had a delicious taste as well. We will definitely be back!

Happened upon this on my way home from a random errand, and so glad I did!Service was impeccable. The whole deal took around 5 minutes, and the food (shared a brisket quesadilla and pork tacos) was shockingly good. Proportions on these were perfect; or if anything - more than expected.Hope this becomes (or remains) a frequent spot for them (17/17). We’d certainly be back for more.

Where's the beef!! I got the burger and I had more bun than burger. I could have slid the burger under the door. The burger did have amazing flavor though. I was told that it had sauteed onions and there was no onions. There are no other toppings that come along with the burger.

I made a joke about the price, and then we tried the brisket quesadilla.Best brisket I've had in Utah for sure!I'm glad they came to the park behind my apt or I never would have know about them:)

Love the chef's origins and had high hopes. However, after ordering at TF Brewing recently, we were disappointed. The $16 hamburger was tiny and a single patty with no side. The brisket tacos were tiny too, nothing like what the pictures here show. It came with slaw that was devoid of any flavor. The neighboring table had sandwiches that looked good though.I always want to support local but when you're relatively small people and had to go get a real dinner afterwards...

I would be remiss were I to lapse and neglect to get this in before the New Year and I strongly wish not to be remiss. Admittedly, food trucks were of relatively minor interest to me pre-pandy. It was one of the larger food trends for quite some time and then seemed to drop off a bit. I don't know what the scene is like now, particularly, as I'm still more or less in my bunker down and avoid people (more than usual, I mean) phase, but it definitely is of higher interest now for when I get tired of cooking myself, as dine-in is still largely a no-go for me and fast food is increasingly leaving much to be desired. This particular truck is a bit hard to come by, but seems to be mostly on the East side of Salt Lake most often. It's one of the smaller trucks, seems to be mostly a one man band operation, but the notes it's playing...let's get into it. I'm not a huge fan of grilled cheese, particularly, but I've had more than a few in my time and let me just say that this is, by far, the best I've had. Ever. There are some unique takes on the creation of the sandwich here that are sheer brilliance, not the least of which is the introduction of brisket and the wonderful accompanying sauces. I suppose one could called this a brisket sandwich, but either way, it's fantastic, just a spectacular creation. Part of this has to do with the brisket, which, between this and the pulled pork, is the better of the two proteins, quite flavorful and tender, but it's really brought together by the bbq and callback (sort of a cream) sauces, both of which are, to my understanding, chef-created. They're both outstanding. The cheese is grilled by itself on the well-seasoned grill and then folded into the grilled bread and this is a stroke of genius. The take on BBQ tacos is also quite good. I found the brisket again to be the better between that and the pulled pork, but that is more personal preference. Both are quite solid. I will say that this can be a touch difficult to eat cleanly, but Carl's Jr. had an ad campaign about getting stuff all over your face and hands and I know more than one person who strongly believes that good BBQ should never be clean. I more mention this so you know going in what you're in for, in case you try to take it and drive whilst eating. This is a truck to keep tabs on, as the operator is clearly a passionate cook, as well as a talented one, and there is a pretty frequent stream of new menu items that appear on the chalk menu, along with the usual regular goodies. This may take some doing to find, but is well worth the hunt.
