The food is actually really good, but the service is so awful that I felt compelled to write a review. Our server was extremely rude which made us not want to go back.

If you close at 9:30 it should say it on here.
Wanted to place a pick up order to get on the way home from camping. My arrival time would be about 9:35 thought it would be perfect because they close at 10. On the phone they told me nope the close at 9:30

We were craving for some dim sum but we ended up on a sketchy place. All the 5 star reviews were misleading and they are overhyped bots the food was NOT good and the place looks and feels sketchy plus the paper plate and plastic cups. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. The sign says regular utensils are provided upon request but do we have to ask for common sense in a restaurant? Seems like they are not it the mood to do the dishes. The FOOD are not freshly cooked they are microwaved! Chef Ramsay would not be very happy! Don’t waste your money find a better place that is worth your money.

I had zero expectations for SLC Chinese food.

Background: I just went to Vancouver July 2024 and Hong Kong April 2024. Houston which is one of the best stateside Chinese food several times this past year.

This place in SLC, surprisingly good. Chicken feet, good (38/50). Ha-gao, siu-mai, both very solid (40/50). Their black bean fish and black bean with clam, both great. The snow pea leaves? Solid (44/50). The beef flat noodle, just average (34/50).

Dan tat (egg tart), average 30/50 although my friends gave it 25/50.

Overall 43/50. If this place was in Houston, then 40/50. The weird thing here? Paper plates and plastic cups, lol. Pretty ghetto but the food is great. Overall, 43/50 so 5 star on Google.

We’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and it’s always the best experience. The staff is lovely.
Sometimes we get lost in translation with their accent and our accent but it’s so worth it for the food!!

The food is not hot and is so bad. The staff is so rude, we talk to them but he didn’t answer or say anything. The food didn’t look like what that actually look like. ?
