Was really excited to try this place out tonight. We were in town to visit Utah University and ate across the street. Walked in and the guy at the counter looked at us and kept scooping for another order for the restaurant next door. He didn't acknowledge us at all. He kept running his hands through his long hair while making the two desserts. There were two other workers sitting at a table rolling silverware, both looked at us and kept rolling. We waited 5 minutes and then walked out. Super bummed we didn't get to try it, but not worth the crappy customer service.

My sweet girls and I spent almost $20 on our three gelatos, and we won't be back. We indicated to the employee, with a septum piercing and very interesting name, that is was our first time here, and she made no welcome nor lit the world on fire with ANY sparkling conversation. She said she had worked there for three years (yikes!) yet somehow had not learned how to give good or even friendly customer service in all that time. When my girls and I (who all ordered the largest sized cups) asked for some information, suggestions and samples, she acted rather irate that we were attempting to do anything but give her an order and money... And really? The teeniest samples she could manage on a spoon? I couldn't even get the "sample" to roll over my whole tongue! Guess what? Ben and Jerry's knows that their business is not going to get made or broken by loading up a sample. You should tell your employees! Also, remind them that service without a smile = no return business. She didn't even finish my transaction with me, just left me at the keypad... so, guess what? No tip. Not that she deserved one, anyway! She very much did not.... If this business is struggling, at all, I could guess why! Also, if you like to pretend that you're a leprechaun while eating, please enjoy their spoons. I asked for a spoon, and she rather rudely handed me ANOTHER SAMPLE SPOON?! Who hired this chick?? An appropriate response (and also not disrespectful and to the inventory- I clearly already had a SAMPLE spoon in my possession) would have been, "Oh, I'm so sorry, these are the only spoons this business carries!" would have been the proper response. But she had already let me know that she didn't appreciate my patronage or money, as she was already servicing the next customer, making ME, THE REASON YOUR BUSINESS STAYS OPEN, THE CUSTOMER, feel like I was more of a nusciance than appreciated. It's kind of ridiculous to not at least have dollar store plastic spoons available for an adult customer who asks for one. That's not gonna break you guys, either, is it??

This is seriously some of the best gelato I've ever had. You can tell they use high grade ingredients and the flavors are perfect amount of sweetness (not overboard like other ice creams). In addition, the staff is on it! The person who was helping us tonight was both kind and patient. He let us sample a few of the flavors and recommended the Panna cotta which was super yummy. Next time I'd get the Nutella and mint cookies and cream for a play on Girl Scout thin mints!

Best gelato in SLC! Serving size is generous. Atmosphere is easy and fun.Vegetarian options: Several workers were dairy freeDietary restrictions: All but 1 of the gelato flavors were gluten free, and several sorbets were dairy free.

Conveniently right next to a pizza shop, so it's the perfect pre-dinner or post-dinner treat! The gelato was very soft but a bit too sweet for my taste. It seems that the staff is shared amongst the two businesses - the gelateria and pizzeria - so we had to wait before getting someone's attention. However, this small cup (with two flavors) is only $4, which I also found very reasonably priced.

The Gelato is good, but there are 20 people taking up most of the seating waiting for tables for Settebello pizzeria. No place for gelato eaters.

Very tasty gelato! Wide variety of flavors. Service was very friendly. Not great places for a group to sit and chat. We tried sitting at a table in the restaurant portion, and they told us we couldn't sit there, even though it wasn't busy.

Went for gelato after pizza. The young man working behind the counter was eating pizza, which is fine, but he went straight from that to giving me a sample. He didn't wash his hands or wear gloves. We decided not to order, it didn't feel really clean. The hazelnut did taste good. Ambiance was kind of dirty feeling overall.

Here again a week later. Busy, but not a wait. Their surprise flavor was a beautiful purple. Comes to find out it's huckleberry. So glad I got that without even trying! Delicious. Very generous with their scoops!

We came here after eating the delicious pizza next door! The young man that helped us decide which flavors to choose was very helpful and patient as we tried to choose just what we wanted! He was very knowledgeable about all the different flavors! The Gelato was delicious, so flavorful! So yummy! The full experience all close together! Dinner and dessert!

This gelato place has everything that mom-to-be and fetus need. The perfect treat!

The gelato was good and the prices were definitely fair, not to mention they really load their cups. They seemed to have a lot of unique flavors not common at ice cream shops and such. In a good area around a lot of the bars and hotels. It is connected to the pizza shop nextdoor, which makes the smell of the shop almost overwhelmingly like tomato sauce. The shop is also used as a waiting room for the restaurant, which takes up a lot of the seating. It was almost close, but they were out of a lot of their flavors.
