We held a Celebration of Life for my father on September 27th and could not have asked for a better experience. We had the entire restaurant from 2–5 pm, complete with excellent service staff, a skilled bartender, and use of all electronic equipment for our slideshow. The food was outstanding — a delicious variety of hors d’oeuvres and desserts at a very reasonable cost.
Carmine was an absolute pleasure to work with. He offered wonderful menu suggestions, made wine and full bar service available, and accommodated our family for dinner immediately after the event, all while seamlessly preparing for regular Saturday night guests.
Everything was handled with care, professionalism, and warmth. Our experience could not have been better, and we are deeply grateful.

First time dining at Carmine's - had a 6pm reservation and arrived at 5:55pm - we were asked to wait until exactly 6pm to be seated (odd!). It became clear they were understaffed but the staff there did a great job tending to everyone. Unfortunately, the food was very mediocre. Dry/stale tasting bread and certainly not 'homemade' pasta! Pizza runny. Olive Garden has better pasta and Big Daddy's much better pizza. Restaurant interior has a nice ambiance. Might have just been an off night but will not return.

Carmine’s is a restaurant I’ve been going to for my birthdays and special occasions these past 3 years. It was my favorite restaurant in town the food was great, the service was amazing the second to last time we went I brought my dad, he pasta was way too salty and the calamari wasn’t done well but we looked past it because of the times before. Unfortunately this time around was the opposite of the first time we went. I went for my birthday this year and the food and service were way off.
The service was unlike any time before. In the past our waiters and waitresses were knowledgeable and charismatic, this time around they were not. This time around when they did check on us it was rushed and never asked if we wanted more drinks. They also wouldn’t take our empty glasses and dishes, it just piled up on the edge of our table. Once there was no space left for the wall of empty dishes and cups I made I finally had to ask for them to take it back after failing to acknowledge all of it again after checking up on us. The waitress also waited for my dish to come out before letting my girlfriend know they were out of the main dish she wanted.
The food in the past was amazing. This time it was for lack of better words, really bad. The salmon ravioli was always my favorite. This time the raviolis weren’t cooked. They weren’t cooked through. The edges were almost rock hard and it was dry inside when you cut into them. The lamb chops completely raw, blue if you want to call it that with little to no sear on the outside when we ordered medium rare and asked if it could be leaning more to the medium side. Kind of a bummer when 2 of the 3 dishes that came out were really bad. Mind you when we showed up they were not busy and by the time we left there was maybe 1 or 2 tables still occupied?
It’s a bummer because this really was my favorite place but after this last time we will not be going back.

Let me start by saying we will be back. Overall this is a good review. No matter how good food is, if the service is an equal to or better than I do not go back. Fabian was our food server and he was exceptional. He was kind, he was knowledgeable, very friendly and efficient at our table. Those supporting him in his service were excellent. As a former food server, I would certainly want him to wait on us again. The entrée selection is amazing. I had the chicken cacciatore and it was so perfectly prepared. Every guest in our party of four was very satisfied with their food. The presentation and the taste was as good as it gets and the pricing was sensational. The ambience of the restaurant is very lovely. Now to the part I would change. I think the appetizer list meeds much to be desired. It’s not that the appetizers we ordered weren’t good, I just believe the appetizers should be more expensive. Also, and this is a knock against most men who go out to eat, there needs to be some sort of dress code. When I go to a restaurant such as Carmines I would expect men to not wear athletic shorts or tank tops or dress like they just came from working in the yard. I’m not sure of how Carmine’s would institute us, but I do think it would elevate their property. I think Carmines is a must go to in Italian dining.

Nice looking restaurant, but unusually cold inside. It was in the 60's outside and had just rained. Perfectly prepared calamari appetizer, but lacking in salt and no salt and pepper on the table. It came with unspiced marinara dipping sauce with the calamari, that was watery and flavorless. The Caesar salad was boring with very little parmesan or croutons. The biggest letdown was the Capricciosa pizza. It left a pink puddle of watery liquid when a slice was removed and was flavorless. Some of the worst pizza that I have ever had in a restaurant. I would expect better.

Pizza was okay. This place is expensive for the quality and quantity. Be prepared to pay $6 for a fountain drink. They also charge the same for refills and that would have been nice for the waitress to tell me. I wasn’t pleased when I asked for the refill to go and they gave it to me in a kids paper cup. Would not recommend coming.

Food and atmosphere were very good. The service was exceptional My only bad experience was the corkage fee. We brought two bottles of wine and the $40 corkage fee cost more than the wines.

Carmines has a good selection of Italian favorites, but their weakness is their wine list which is very minimal. We chose a Sauvignon Blanc for $50/bottle. It was very average and was an import from Slovenia. I think the average wine consumer would like to have at least two or three options on a specific varietal wine. I also determined later that this particular wine was only $16 in the liquor store. So I think the markup was excessive for the quality.
Regarding the food choice of clams and pasta. The dish was tasty but the clams were left wanting.
Small morsels of clam meat could have been compensated with more clams on the dish especially for $30. The decor and ambiance was very nice and relaxed.
I think there are better Italian restaurants in that price range that offer more wine options and food portions.
