Nice restaurant, great location. The hamburger and chicken sandwich were good. The shrimp and brussels sprouts were a bit too spicy. We were disappointed that there were no gluten free dishes on the menu. Service was great.

Love the food and the service at Carson Kitchen. I just wish it could be a little warmer, cozier and quieter. The music is too loud and the chairs scraping across the floor can be downright jarring.

We were treated by having Tucker as our server on the first day we went in (Halloween, 2025). He's got a great personality and had the time to chat it up with us - there weren't that many other parties because we arrived at 4p! His tips on how to enjoy the most out of our dishes, especially the mushroom flatbread, were irreplaceable. We felt like real insiders. Anyway, we enjoyed it so much that we brought our fellow foodie friends in the very next day! They tried many of the same dishes we ordered and also loved it. Great work with your menu and staff. We will come again and again and again whenever we're in town. Oh, just one slight negative note. I called to make sure you were open on Nov 1, and someone from the kitchen picked up. They were NOT friendly.

Absolutely loved it. Our waiter was amazing, food was fast and delicious, menu was very creative.

Fantastic service and food. Had an early lunch at 11:30. Bring a good appetite; portions are big.

The waitress was great but the noise level made it very hard to hear our conversation. The food was okay.

The food and service was excellent. The steak and chicken were perfect. Had never had Brussels sprouts before but the salad was great. Would definitely recommend and return next time I'm in Salt Lake City.

The bartender was great, but from there it all went downhill. The server took advantage of the busy party we had over ordering larger more expensive quantities of wine. Did not seek to help us. And the food was just ok. Everything was just a little off. When it came to paying the bill there was a complicated process because they wouldn't help with multiple checks. As a large party with tech the way it is, this shouldn't be the way anymore.

The food here is excellent! I had the trout, which I highly recommend—it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed a variety of tapas-style appetizers, all of which were delicious.

Unfortunately, the service really brought down the experience. Things started off fine, but as the night went on, our table was essentially ignored while a larger party received most of the attention. Our waters were never refilled, dishes we ordered were missing, we weren’t asked about condiments (we definitely needed hot sauce and salt for a few dishes), and after we finished our plates, it took about 30 minutes before anyone came by. In fact, the first time someone finally checked in again was at 9 p.m.—right when the restaurant was closing.

Overall, amazing food but disappointing service.

Happened in on a random Monday. Wish I could remember the host’s name- he did the most amazing job of making us feel welcome and seen without inserting himself in the conversation in a way that was intrusive (he’s from New Mexico and he’s funny and kind!). He then brought back some hiking recommendations that were awesome. The food was also terrific- creative without being showy or strange. Great local and regional beer options, very reasonable pricing. Looking forward to going back.

The food was incredible! Prices were fair for the quality. Not much variety, but if you think you’ll enjoy what’s on the menu then it’s definitely worth it. Pictured are the secret Sunday chicken and the chicken thighs

Seldom write a review, but we really enjoyed dinner here last night and wanted to share. The deviled eggs and pork belly were standouts for sure. Service was friendly and the drinks were good, but the food was fantastic!!!
