Super good food! And definitely some of the best pasta in utah!

Absolutely fantastic. Truly authentic Italian cuisine that is the best in the Salt Lake area. Wonderful experience, food is perfectly prepared, great wine list.

Very enjoyable dishes were incredible. The homemade gnocchi was the best I've ever had. My truffle pasta special was flavourful and had three perfect amount of sauce.

I'd love to do 5 stars but 4 is where it ended for a few reasons. But first I will say that the food is really really good and worth going to try. I just hope they make a few changes. We ordered a few different dishes but we are a big party and asked to order several of the same dishes to male it easier. We had the special that was (I cannot remember) but it was very very good. I'd recommend it.The seafood pasta, also really great flavorGnnociAnd ravioli. The issue with the ravioli was (you'll see in picture) was the sage butter sauce was more like pasta water and the sage I don't think was even cooked. So the ravioli by itself was great the sage butter sauce (pasta water) was a huge disappointment. I cook sage butter sauce all the time and this was not it. So I hope that gets fixed.Second the desserts were lack luster for sure. The tiramisu was good but not great and the fruit taste was the best. There was a custard something don't get it not amazing. They were won't of the chocolate tart. So sad. I'd love to see other dessert options. Even a Gelato. The food is worth the visit. We will go back. But because of the dessert and sage butter sauce I had to take one ? away.

Every bite I had at Celeste was a treat. There is so much love and attention to detail is put into each dish. My family was treated extremely well, two silly kids included. I would absolutely recommend a visit. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Authentic Tuscany cuisine we did not expect to find in Salt Lake City. The choice of menu and the execution was spare, simplistic and extremely to the point. We love this bold unyielding confidence from the chef. The food reminds me of food cooked by my Tuscan friend's father, who hardly ever put more than 5 ingredients in a dish! More specifically we love love love the carpaccio. The daily special pasta in summer truffle tasted divine. An update here, we went back to the restaurant again and the pasta dish with pesto and shrimp is the crowd favorite.

I would highly recommend this place for any Italian food lover. Been a long time since I have had good authentic Italian food. I had the Ravioli Incavolti. The bread was sourdough bread was freshly baked.

This place is excellent! I have been coming here with my family for many years. We usually order the specials, always perfect. The people who work here are very nice and sweet. The place is the only place in Salt Lake City where you can get authentic Italian food. Definitely worth the price!

I almost don't want to review this place so you won't find out about it, but they have earned it. This is the best meal I have had in SLC. The food is incredible. I have been twice in the past two weeks and can't wait to go again. Authentic, homemade, delicious. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Can't recommend enough. Give them all your money, your tummy will thank you.

Hit and miss here. Service needs some work for sure. Made to wait for over 20 minutes to be seated despite an empty table clearly visible. And that's the table the finally sat us at, so why the wait? Looks like the husband/wife owners insist on serving the entire restaurant themselves. I get the old World mentality of doing everything yourself, but you've got hungry customers to serve. Hire a couple of wait staff. The food is hit and miss as well. Sometimes I get a delicious meal. This last time, however, it was a plain chicken cutlet drenched in bland marinara. The sides were clearly frozen potatoes out of a bag and green beans from a can, both slightly heated in a microwave. I thought the Italian Soda was going to be a specialty drink, with flavorings, cream, soda, etc. Instead, it was literally a can of soda pop from Italy. She did open the can at the table, however, for that tableside service flair. For dessert we had a fruit tart, which looked and tasted like it came straight from the Smith's bakery. Nothing about the meal looked or tasted authentic. I could have literally just gone to the grocery store, used my microwave, and reproduced the entire experience.

The food was excellent. Our waiter was Italian and very knowledgeable about the dishes. Would highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Italian experience.

First time eating at Celeste. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. There were 3 people taking care of the front of the house of the restaurant and still the service could not have been better. The pasta was great homemade (I had a special and can't remember the name) the salad was amazing (Insalata Contadina) it was so fresh. I so recommend going there.

How is this place still in business!! Very rude customer service! They do not deserve to be in business. If you look at the low star reviews look at how the owners handle comments. A recent review with a comment from the owner - "Response from the owner18 hours ago, Yes do not come back thank you" Multiple times in different reviews they tell customers to go elsewhere! one review they tell a customer to go to Olive Garden instead! What business does that! They deserve to go out of business and financially suffer. What kind of business like this deserves our money! Go support another restaurant that cares about customers and their work! There are so many great Italian restaurants out there! DO NOT EAT HERE! SAVE YOUR SELF THE TIME!**EDIT TO OWNER RESPONSE**I actually am not looking for free food since I did not eat there. I was looking for a place to have a meeting dinner and after reading the reviews that made me change my mind :) Also, nothing can come back to me when I wish something. There is no crime there. Honestly, you're making yourself look bad in the public eye and deserve it. Keep responding to the negative comments since you can't handle it. Only makes you look worse. Have a great day!
