We were in the area and wanted to try something new and fast. I would give it a 3-3.5 star, average. The food was good and different, surprised us. Very unique flavors. Service was fast and friendly. It could have been a little cleaner. Not in a hurry to eat there again anytime soon.Ate:Turnpike LoveThe HoneymoonerChedda TotsOreo & Vanilla Shake (They were out of Strawberries.)

I visited this place for the first time and it will be my last. Apparently, you have to stand in line for 40 minutes to order but you can't grab a table that becomes open. It's first come first serve. The cook took time to come to my table and let me know with a line a mile long.... No sign no directions... Today was my first visit and it will be my last visit.. better yet while we are waiting one of the cooks got arrested and walked out.. classy. Not worth the food or wait. Last but not least the cook said he was having a bad day. If you are having a bad day at Chedda Burger it's ok to take it out on your paying customers.

Great place to get grub! The place was easy to find, it's located in a food plaza. As soon as we came in there was no line, the lady at the counter was very friendly and offered a few recommendations. This place is an order first then sit and wait for your food. They also offer gluten free burger buns and gluten free prepared fries and brussel sprouts. Don't forget the cheese. They have different cheese options other than chedda! Great first time experience.

Not a bad Oreo shake. They were out of strawberries and bananas. Got a burger, it was just ok. I wasn't a fan of the chedda tots. The Mac n cheese wasn't anything special. Tables were dirty/out of paper towels, floors were in pretty bad shape too. Poor guys working appeared to be overworked and understaffed.

HUGE RED FLAG This place is the worst customer service I've ever had in my entire life. They made us the wrong burgers, we called and told them, their employee apologized and told us to pick up new ones, we told him we are booked full at work the rest of the day and we can't make it over there to grab new ones. He said no problem come over and grab new ones tomorrow. I call today to put the 3 burgers in that they messed up, and the General Manager Tammy, refuses to make us the burgers and tells me that she made them personally yesterday and they were correct. (We were going to order 3 more shakes and sides and pay for them as well. Guess they don't see the big picture in life.) No sincere apology for messing up, no ownership to the issue. She gave me attitude the entire phone call, about how we were wrong. We paid $20 a person per meal, and our food was wrong, we expect our food to be made correctly, it is not a lot to ask. I asked for my money back, and they refuse, saying that they won't remake or give me new burgers since I didn't bring the food back, which was never apart of the terms. If you look at other reviews, other customers have had the same problem with this place not owning up to their mistakes, Tammy needs to go!

Messed up order. Ordered double patties and got only one patty. Ask for extra onions and didn't get onions at all. Requested NO TOMATOES PLEASE and got a tomato. I tried to call them at (801) 906-8779 and got no answer. Their own website didn't have a number to call. I'm from out of town and had a long drive from southeast Colorado and I'm tired and hungry. No way to get a refund. Failed!

Great burgers, great fry sauce and the chedda tots deliver on the flavor! Great that they are open on Sunday also! The guy behind the grill knows what he's doing! Will for sure come back next time I come to Salt Lake City.

It was fine... Probably worth another shot. I caught them at the end of the day, within 30 min of closing time. The burger meat was good. Cooked well. The flavors of our burgers were generally good. Could have used some sauce on my hen burger. The fries were great. We got the half and half.It was at the end of the day, so several of the menu items were not available. That was a little frustrating, but I suppose understandable in our current economic situation.I was not a fan of the street yard grunge decor or music. Just a personal opinion. The place was generally pretty dirty, food and trash on the floor, even in the restrooms. The table we were at was pretty sticky. The service was great, they were personable and acknowledged us as we came in and left.Parking: Parking sucks. Gotta park at the gateway. It's not too bad if you're coming for another event like a movie or just wondering on the mall and staying for a while. But it's kind of a pain to just come there for a meal.

THIS PLACE RULES. When I asked for no bun, they asked if I wanted a gluten free bun or a lettuce wrap, and when I said GF please, the person taking our order quickly told the cooks to use the GF fryer for this order, and the cooks changed gloves. They're really informed and supportive of allergies and were happy to accommodate. The burgers and sides were DELICIOUS and I could tell everything was made with good ingredients. I especially enjoyed the fried brussels. I'll be returning often, as they're very GF friendly.

Many issues. The wait was extremely long, not because they were super busy, but because they are terribly managed. The manager was unprofessional and yells at the staff and they work in a disorganized fashion. They actually ran out of burgers! The cheddar tots are a bit too salty but otherwise good. The burger meat was ok but the bun had an odd density and no flavor. The pork is pre-packaged and the staff said “I wouldn’t recommend it. It doesn’t taste very good and comes out of a bag and we shred it.” The restaurant didn’t look clean. We will not return.

Great atmosphere the moment you open the door, Jace greeted us as we came in and assured us he'd be right with us. He put the order in quick and was very polite. Food was cheap and came out quick. Thank you Chedda burger, and a big thank you to have for making it a great experience for me and my friends.

SOOO GOOD!!! The quality of the food was excellent and we ate every bite. The kids loved it and wanted more. They make the food to order, so it's fresh. Great place for families, date night or grab a bite to eat. Either way, you'll be satisfied.

The lady working the register with pink hair is insanely rude. The food is good, but really rude lady working the counter.

Unique, quirky burgers are the best! Love that they have alcoholic beverages which is uncommon for Utah burger joints.
