Rebrand changed everything. Chicken Express went from a a place my husband had to stop at every time he was in the area (seriously he would stop for the rice alone) to inedible. His favorite restaurant is now a place we likely won't go again. Bummer because it really was great.

I am so sad to post this review. Chicken Express has been one of my favorite lunch spots for 30 years. Here is the issue. Since the change the rice is not as good. The combination had been modified too not come with a salad. The salad was an important part of the makeup of that meal. Where the place used to be packed it was empty when I went. Put the salad back into the combo and I'll return.

Me and my friend stopped by Fresh Chicken Express and were blown away by the quality of the food. The chicken was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. You can really taste the love and care they put into it. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. The service was friendly, and the whole experience was just amazing. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving flavorful grilled chicken or something satisfying. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Fresh Chicken Express (formerly Chicken Express) is a great spot for a quick lunch pit stop! The food is fresh, high quality, and really tasty. The service is fast and efficient, perfect if you’re on the go but still want something delicious. Highly recommend stopping by, I’ll definitely be back!

I saw the restaurant re-opened and decided to give it a try again. I had stopped going here a long time ago because the prior owner raised the prices really high and decreased the portions. I was hopeful the new owner went back to the original model. Large portions, good food and inexpensive or moderate pricing.
I got the combination plate and a drink $21. The skewers were better than before. All the portions were larger than before. But the gyro and rice were not as good. The gyro was the gyro that looked like it is purchased pre-sliced. I did not eat it. The rice used to be really good. Now it has changed greatly. It is darker and dry.
The presentation of the food was definitely better. But most people did not go here because of ambiance or presentation. It was a cheap restaurant with good food and big portions.
Overall, I was disappointed. It's not a bad restaurant. I was just disappointed. It did not change for the better.
