A great option for Mexican food in Salt Lake City. Located right downtown, call ahead before going as this place is always busy so you will be waiting. The food and service is solid. We brought a group of 19 and they were able to accommodate. Whether it is drinks or food, you won't be disappointed so order away!

My husband and I love this restaurant. We order the Parrillada plate to share and always have left overs. The margaritas are okay, but nothing to rage about. It's usually busy, but the servers try their best to keep up.

ok i hate giving low stars because the staff was so f'ing nice (shout out to waitress elsa- you deserve a raise) but the food was just alright to me. but i also made the sin of going healthy (camarones ensalada) soo maybe part 2 ft. queso fundido is needed to experience the heart flare.

Very impressive. This place was absolutely packed, line out the door, and full waiting room. Waited about 40 minutes… absolutely worth it. I got the Parrilladas for 1 (it’s for 2 on the menu, but I asked and they had it for 1). It’s tex mex without any loss or skimp on the Mex at its best. Will be back often.

I have been a few times and each time the food has been delicious. Today, however,I did have a hair in my enchilada. I didn't even think this happened anymore! Besides that the service was excellent and the wait was only 20 minutes! Obviously my takeaway is that they need to be more careful.

We had a reservation for Chile Tepin at 5 pm on a Friday night and I was so excited because I've heard so many good things about this place and was excited to try it out! The parking was a good start. There is someone out there showing where to park and makes it a non stressful situation. It's a tight space but they make it work. The inside of the restaurant is very modern, white and very clean. They have the QR code menus but I did notice some tables had paper menus for those who needed it. The menu is simple and doesn't have too many options to make it complicated. I ended up ordering the combination plate of a steak taco and an enchilada. The portions are very large and I could have easily shared my meal with someone else. I really enjoyed the steak on my taco and the rice. It was very flavorful and delicious. I also ordered a pina colada and really enjoyed that as well. Very beautiful and complimented my dish perfectly. The only thing I would have hoped for is a more mild salsa. I can handle heat but it was too hot for me to enjoy. Everything else was fantastic and I would eat here again.
