Spectacular dinner. I got the chicken and every bite was heaven.
The wine here is delicious, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and romantic with great decor. I really liked the pesto and the cobbler, both full of flavor and beautifully done. The sourdough bread was another highlight.
Vegetarians should know that the menu is a bit limited. The asparagus dish, for example, includes meat and isn’t a vegetarian option, which was a little disappointing. That said, the waitress was knowledgeable about the drinks and made a perfect recommendation for my friend, who absolutely loved her cocktail. It’s a lovely place to relax with a good drink and enjoy a few thoughtful dishes.
This is a casual restaurant close to the convention center with modern American fare.
If you like craft cocktails, this is the place for you. They have a super interesting list of their own, very creative, cocktails. One example: the buttered bee's knees. It is made with the locally made Beehive barrel-aged gin, butter (yes), honey, and lemon. This version is better than any classic bee's knees cocktail I have ever had. The others on the list are equally creative and excellent! And of course, they do classic cocktails as well.
We shared two starters: the smashed potatoes with fry dip and the smoked trout dip topped with pastrami flavor spices. The dip itself was very good, but to my taste the topping of spices overwhelmed the fish. The smashed potatoes were super- crispy, very hot, and nice. The dipping sauce was okay but not my favorite taste profile.
I had the lamb merguez meatballs served with labneh and flatbread. They had a lovely taste, but were a bit dense and heavy. The salmon, however, was exquisite. Perfectly cooked, and the couscous and ramp habanero cream were great with it. The bucatini was also very good.
We had the rhubarb cobbler, topped with their house made vanilla soft serve, which was delicious. The blondie sundae also was declared yummy.
All in all, we had a lovely meal and great service in a casual relaxed restaurant. I recommend this place. Its location is great, being so close to the convention center.
I came for food and drinks with my in laws who are from Belize. My brother in law is a very large, black, outgoing man, and he had ONE drink and was happily talking to the staff and they cut him off. He’s a loud person — it is embedded in his culture. I understand making judgments about behavior, I truly do. But cutting him off for his behavior without considering culture (or maybe because of his culture?) was straight up RACIST and offensive to all of us sitting here, not to mention humiliating on a Monday night at 7pm. So disappointed in Salt Lake.
Rude hostess. Waitress gave incorrect info, spent 12 on a salad she said came with the meal. 2 single toilets: is that legal? Once, never again
Cass, the hostess or the one helping up front, was very rude. I’m not the one to leave reviews, I’m usually very patient, but she was extremely rude and off putting as soon as we walked in. Why be in the customer service industry if you act that way? Just not a good impression as you walk in. Kind of made the experience and atmosphere start out bad immediately.
Loved it so much going back tonight!
Great food, great cocktails , Amazing Team!!!
Recommend most highly!

Food was amazing and our bartender Jay was super cool and so nice! ❤️❤️
Visited on a Friday night with a reservation. Seated immediately and not at the high tops with bar stools, thank God. (Previously ate here and sat at a high top, to me it’s just not enjoyable if I’m doing anything but a cocktail) Our server was excellent and the food was lovely, we took our time and never felt rushed. Cocktails were good and as strong as Utah will allow lol, s/o state legislature :/
Oysters tasted fresh and dessert was lovely. I’d definitely dine here again, I do think they should rethink the high tops for dinner patrons but that’s probably just personal preference. Great place to start your night out, with a full bar and reasonably priced bites.
Neighborhood spot. Super great. Food and drink are phenomenal, and the servers are awesome.

Great food and excellent service. Aaron likes his meat!
Service and food was decent, but they didn’t have any espresso for espresso martinis which is odd for a highly appraised cocktail bar, and no candles for a birthday celebration? Not a huge deal but just a bit odd not to have. Service and food was great for the most part! The fideos pasta with “toasted angel hair pasta” was definitely a bit over cooked and had a bit of a burnt flavor so beware if you’re sensitive to that
Meh, server was rude. Didn’t stay. I would avoid this place for sure
So so good!!
Great week place to go at 5pm or so for some lovely libations and goodies. Knowledgeable staff and excellent choices, we had oysters, the salad with haloumi and pear, broccolini and potatoes. Delicious!
