Ordered 2 salads online and got no meat on one of the orders! The order receipt shows what we got for evidence. Ironically, the extra meat salad I ordered only had normal amount of meat… what I joke! Should have ordered extra meat on both to ensure we got the meat. How do you call a sweet pork salad a sweet pork salad with no meat???

Switched to Costa Vida years ago after their competitor went downhill. Sadly I have seen their quality slowly drop as well, at least at this Foothill location. Now the issues are constant, particularly with delivery. It's always something, missing item or cold food. Our doorbell doesn't work, but we have a big sign that says "please knock". We also always enter "please knock" in the notes. They never knock, they just leave it on the doorstep and then we get a text saying that our driver handed the food to us. The last straw happened last week when the food was 20 minutes late, very cold, and had been half eaten. It was disgusting, but my partner was so hungry they had to eat what was there. I can't risk this kind of thing again. We have ordered here so much over the years, but now we can never order from them again. It's really unfortunate.

Highly recommend this over the Cafe Rio at the same mall (the Rio is TERRIBLE stay away, they gave me 2 sopping wet shredded chicken quesadillas. Literally inedible). Costa vida is always consistent and better quality. I will return more. Go here!!

Had Saturday lunch at costa vida today. We walked in, ready to eat and experience the costa vida lifestyle, and were greeted with …. nobody….
Seriously nobody was behind the counter for at least 5 minutes. After looking around and exchanging awkward small talk with people in the growing line, we started to wonder if we’d even get to eat the food. My girlfriend instructed me to be polite but honestly I was hungry.

Eventually a couple workers came out and served. They didn’t seem to love their jobs and I had to ask for a slightly larger portion. They made the food following basic Costa vida protocol, which is fine except I don’t like having anxiety about where or not the portions are up to par

Furthermore, the glass display with the bubbles was turned off. Now my girlfriend was upset along with me. Might have been just hangry tbh but you get it

The food was great as always EXCEPT for an undercooked tortilla. Still tasted fine but let’s be cognizant of diseases.

I know these concerns can be rectified. I still believe in this establishment and I’m sure the owners and team members can make it right.

All the best

Wasted $19 on an online order because the store was completely inaccessible today. Really upset they wouldn’t have turned off online ordering. I tried for 15 minutes to find an entrance that worked and climbed many stairs - nothing! Totally inaccessible! Unbelievable.

We came in yesterday, it was our anniversary. We ordered a double chicken enchilada dinner and a double beef taco dinner. With a side of their awesome tomatillo ranch and we asked for a side of their salsa fresca, I guess they did not hear. In fairness we were not charged so, obviously they did not hear. The staff was very nice and friendly. My husband's food was 8 out of 10, the chicken was a little dry and there was not enough sauce. Even though we offered to pay more for extra sauce. My beef tacos, we're not beef. They were 100% your pork. My mother-in-law gets your pork tacos and agrees they were the pork. I don't eat pork and so I was not able to eat anything other than the very small amount of rice and beans I was allotted. But oddly my husband got a lot of rice and beans. And it should be noted two different people made our food. So it could just be a training thing. Normally we love coming here and stopped going to the location in Murray because you guys are so spot-on. But the last couple times have been so subpar it's not worth it to come anymore. We drive further to go to your location. On one good note your strawberry limonada Is phenomenal. But it sucked to have your anniversary dinner ruined. So I don't know what to make of this, one meal was made pretty good, was missing a couple items, but all around was pretty good seven out of 10. But the other one is still sitting in my fridge because I won't eat it, And I intend to take it back. But I'm not a complainer. So it'll just end up getting thrown away and I will lose out on my money and it just sucks. And in the future I guess I will have to make them prove that they're putting beef and not pork. And before you put it on me, when you guys are busy you quickly pepper questions and as a customer you're trying to answer everything and pay attention to everything that's going on, but you just have to trust that they're doing what they're supposed to do because you were pushed through the line so quickly. There is no real way to resolve this, nobody answers their phone in restaurants anymore. You can try emailing companies and nothing happens or they force you to go to the app and you get nothing from it other than an apology. I think I deserve more than an apology for ruining our anniversary dinner. With my years of continued patronage, I'm just left hanging.

This location used to be good. Now the service takes forever (30-45 minutes is crazy for fast food), the employees are lazy and have bad customer service in general. The last visit we had they gave us the wrong food, when we told them, they said we needed to get back in the 30 minute line to have it fixed ?. I have had good experiences here in the past but the last 6 months or so it has gone down hill.

There is a worker here who is my absolute hero. He is genuinely the nicest man I’ve ever met in a restaurant. Goes out of his way to hold open the door, offers to refill our drinks for us, just such an upstanding worker. I feel so bad I forgot his name but I think about him every night as I fall asleep.

The food is good, but wow, I’ve never experienced so much unprofessionalism behind the counter. They had seven people working, but none of them were able to help Serve the big line of customers for some reason. I saw the manager in the back playing with the receipt machine. They were over 10 people waiting in line. If I was the owner of this establishment, I would replace the manager ASAP.

The food was good, but the service was exceptional! Specifically one gentleman who not only helped us get our food to the table, but also ensured we had napkins, checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us clear our table all while being above and beyond polite and friendly. It was an amazing experience in a costa vida, if we are ever on this end of SLC again, we will definitely go back!
