Having been a cook there and working directly with the kitchen head and resident chef, it was fast, fun and sporadically busy-then dead. All that melts away when you see the view of SLC and the campus sprawled out before you. The Philly cheese steak sandwiches and grilled cheese are the go to items when I was involved. It's a great place and excellent view, would highly recommend.
Thank you Kumar and team, I had a great time. Great atmosphere and great food.
Normally I love this place, but this new menu really underdelivers. The sliders are very expensive, and you hardly get any real food.
I have come to this establishment on two occasions, both ending poorly.
The first time I had dined here I ordered the Mac and Cheese. Which was so good however the wait was not. I had ordered within enough time to still get the lunch menu and noticed the cooks in the back of the restaurant taking a break 45+ minutes after I had ordered my food. My food has still not arrived. No one told me what was happening and the others I was eating with got their food well before I did even though we ordered roughly at the same time. After asking when my food was coming, I wasn’t given a definite answer and was just told “I’ll go check” just for the waiter to come out with other trays for other tables.
Now the second time eating here after carefully considering going back, I ordered the French dip. Again AMAZING food. They have you order online through your phone with a faulty website that crashes. After pressing pay I was brought to a white screen with no confirmation email or text. They also are not willing to help you if you are double charged.
If you’re looking for somewhere to eat at the University of Utah, I’d skip this place.
Decent food for campus dining but by no means is this "fine dining". Entire experience is self-serve but at only slightly below full-service pricing.
Tables are dirty, sauce bottles are empty. The only interaction with staff you will have while here is when they drop off the food.

It took me a full hour to get my food. I noticed them after 30 mins I ordered, and got it after 30 mins. And they even forgot my side, and it took another 20 mins to make a garlic bread. I didn't even get a sorry for it. The food is very salty too. The pasta that took an hour was too boiled, they were served broken into pieces.

Food quality was good but the portions were small.Service was very very slow I got fries instead of salad but I didn't even mention it to them because I didn't want to wait any longer.Orders from the same table were served at different times. My friend's order wasn't ready until 20 minutes after I finished mine!!

Restaurantji Recommends
Great made to order food that is reasonably fast. The view cannot be beat. I would highly recommend a visit. It’s the best place to eat on campus as far as I’m concerned.

I went here with 9 other people and for me my food and one other person's food were out right away, but I felt bad because the rest of the group had to wait like 10 or up to 20 minutes for their food. I had their French dip sandwich and I wish the dip had onions in it like a different restaurant I went to. It wasn't the best frech dip I had, but for an option on campus it is isn't the worst. I ordered a salad with it but got fries instead. For the interior there was a nice soda bar but there were a few options that were either out of order or out of stock which really wasn't too bad for me since I didn't prefer those options but others in the group were disappointed. One of our group members was gluten intolerant/celiac and it took them a very long time to make the gluten free food. Other than that, they need to sweep up more, there were a few dead flies near the sliding windows.

Super nice. Actually read my customer profile for submission and took note of dairy allergy
The place is good. I liked the food I ordered.
