We discovered Cupcake by Kasthuri last year and have ordered 6 times. We're currently working our way through the menu of flavors. Every cupcake we've tried has been amazingly fresh, moist, and incredibly delicious. We love the variety and creativity of flavors and the fact that there is less sugar. We get these for office birthdays and its quickly become my favorite office tradition. On a personal note, Kasthuri is so lovely to work with!

I was hesitant to order cupcakes for my wedding without ever tasting them, but after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to take a chance. Man am I glad I did! We ordered Lemon Raspberry and Chocolate Cheese and both were a hit! My guests couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic they were, and even a handful of them said they were the BEST CUPCAKES they’ve ever had. I will absolutely order more in the future!

A transaction does not need to take place for a review to be made. Especially if a transaction is cancelled due to a business owner being rude to a bride who is already extremely stressed out. Her cupcakes were fine. I had a couple of the sample ones. Nothing to write home about, but if you’re willing to put up with poor customer service then go ahead and get some to enjoy.Update 3: I will not be continuing to update this review despite this company continually editing their response to frame my sister in the negative light. My sister and her husband received an unprofessional email after requesting to have no signage as her and her husband were going to bring their own because they had some guests with dietary restrictions and were worried that the signage provided could result to tragedy. For asking to remove a single simple feature they were met with an email telling them that short email chains were too stressful and that told them they could pick up the cupcakes and cake themselves (something that is incredibly difficult without the experience and tools used for delivering baked goods)(I’m talking about hundreds of cupcakes). It was already discussed in their prior conversations that it would be delivered and set up by Kasthuri and this implication of picking it up themselves was an unprofessional response to a simple removal of signage calling it an insignificant detail despite it being so that guests didn’t end up in the hospital. They ended up canceling their order that they had booked months in advance. Thus, it can’t be recommended to order here for any bulk orders as it is too stressful for Kasthuri.Furthermore, the way my review has had its owner response changed multiple times trying to make me appear as a bad consumer has been highly unprofessional in my eyes.Also Cupcakes by Kasthuri has had negative reviews in the past. We had a very negative experience with this business. We were planning to order 200+ cupcakes and a wedding cake here as well as delivery and set up for our wedding. We asked the owner, Kasthuri, about the cake signs she offers for rent as part of her wedding set up package and she told us she only offers a photo frame with a list of flavors. Because of dietary restrictions, we let her know that we would not need to rent a cake sign, as we planned to bring our own to identify each flavor. Attached is her email reply. Apparently it is too stressful for her to work with customers to plan a few details for their event despite her wedding cake set up package costing $180 in addition to the $60 delivery fee and a $600+ cake and cupcake order. Apparently emails are difficult for her to deal with, as she feels short email chains are too stressful. She sent us details about the set up, we sent one email asking her if she had any other cake sign options, she sent an email back saying she did not, and we simply replied with one more email telling her we would not be needing the sign. Apparently that was too much for her or she was offended by it, so she insisted we pick up and set up the cake and cupcakes ourselves.Anyone working in the wedding industry knows that details are important, but she feels such details are insignificant and would prefer that customers not ask clarifying questions about her set up package. If she needs to channel all her energy into her baking, she shouldn't be offering a delivery and set up service, as such services require these kinds of details to be addressed and worked out. We never agreed to pick up the order costing over $600 because we needed to focus on other things during our wedding. She could have simply declined to deliver in the first place but she agreed to deliver and also gave us a $240 quote as set-up and delivery fee. We ended up cancelling our order due to her unprofessionalism after booking her months in advance and doing a $50 cake tasting. We would not recommend her for any large event or bulk orders. It appears she is unable to handle them in a professional and competent manner.She is twisting the story and somehow is removing the low rating reviews by reporting it as a spam. Sketchy business. Apparently, her 5 star reviews gives her the edge to be rude to some customers.Update to the vendors response: I am a big fan of karma too. Kasthuri saved the day with our last minute cupcake order and made some delicious spiced apple and peaches and cream cupcakes for my baby shower. She was very easy to work with and those cupcakes did not last long! They were a huge hit! Very fresh and absolutely delicious!

I'm in unit 112 of this complex (not to be confused with B112), and would like to respond to the 1 star review complaining about the map and not being able to find the unit. You were at the wrong unit and the wrong building. The map is not made by Cupcakes by Kasthuri, but by me over at GeekeryMade (a very clearly not a bakery business in the same complex, but not the same building) as an attempt to help people navigate to the correct building. This is a wonderful bakery (as you can tell by all their other reviews) and is easy to find if you read the unit numbers. Directions are available on their site. Hopefully dude who left the bad review was just having a bad day.

Working with Kasthuri was such a wonderful experience. Living in Atlanta, I was looking for a sweet way to surprise my son and his coworkers for his birthday. Kasthuri made the wedding cake and cupcakes for my daughters wedding. Wow! Everything turned out better than I had imagined! The wedding cake was Madagascar Vanilla Bean with buttercream frosting, which we decorated with fresh dried and glazed oranges along with greenery. We had two flavors of cupcakes. Peaches and Cream and Pineapple Coconut Milk. Half were mini’s and half full size. We chose light and fruity flavors due to our summer wedding. There were many guests who attended and most went back for seconds...and thirds! Both flavors were absolutely divine, and even I couldn’t come to a conclusion as to which one was my favorite. The cake was moist and frosting on each was very light and naturally flavorful. Kasthuri helped us pull off the perfect wedding!!
