I ordered online and they didn't bother to call back saying they were out of biscuits and gravy so I paid for a meal without that and my extra side of hashbrowns I got the other half of the order but not the other and told me it would be an hour for them to even get to the refund. Bad customer service. There were even two ladies who weren't even on a schedule there saying they're just helping trying to help others but weren't even employees when I asked if they had any idea of why my order was half made.

We went in this early morning around 2am and we had a server that was very fast! I wish we caught his name because he was working by himself as a server and he was AMAZING! He’s Hispanic and ugh he was just so quick and very nice making sure we are ok! Thank you for that the food was sooooo BOMB

On every visit to this Denny's location we have received exceptional service and great meals. On the 1st visit here we met the absolutely amazing serving staff. Jolene, Jaime and Brenda. They are friendly, professional and efficient servers. We come to Salt Lake for medical services and make it a point to drive all the way across the city to visit this location because of the staff and great food. Visit this location today!!!

Food was okay, but I am leaving this review to recognize the excellent service my husband and I received from Shelby. He greeted us promptly when we arrived. He moved quickly from table to table. He kept our glasses full and made sure we had all the extras we needed. I f that wasn't enough to impress, I also watched him interact with a grumpy person. He proceedEd nonplussed, responding with kindness and patience. Shelby is a true professional.

What a horrible experience. They did not give us all the food we ordered and Jesus answered the phone and told us to request a refund on the website. (No such function) so we drove there. Was met with Jesus and kept being condescending and told me to wait for my new food. I told him I still wanted to speak to the manager. Condescending again and said she would be awhile because is taking care of something. I understand but want to speak to her. He then got enraged and told me to sit down waiving his hands in error. I asked him why he was talking to me the way he was. Because I am upset about my order being wrong? No sorry you don't get to talk to me like that.

Ordered online at 9:21AM. Order said it would be ready by 9:54AM-9:59AM. Arrived in lobby at 9:54AM and waited about 10-15 more minutes for my food. Okay, no big deal. They're busy. Come back home, and they've screwed up our order. Called the restaurant. They said we could come back in and pick it up, but there would be no compensation they would provide, which I did not expect in full but at least to some degree, but they outright refused and told us to go online to get a refund. WHAT? I was a bit flustered at this point so I ended the call informing the person on the other end this is probably going to be our last Denny's experience either (and it will be if you read further). Then my partner wanted to have a conversation with them about their service and they wouldn't answer the phone at all after I called. We called numerous times and no one would pick up the phone at all. Because they would not answer the phone, I came back to the restaurant with my partner with all of our food and we expressed our frustration, we tried to get clarity on why they wouldn't provide us the refund since they were the restaurant on fault. Continued to the push the online refund. At least they offered to remake our food, but when they remade it and sent us on our way, we came home to find THEY SCREWED UP OUR ORDER YET AGAIN. Oh and when we were at the restaurant, one of the servers assisting us appeared to be overwhelmed, and while talking with my partner, he lost his cool at some point and raised my voice to my partner telling him to sit down, then followed by the server clearly rolling his eyes. This is where the Denny's employee decided to escalate the situation further (unknowingly or not), and we of course responded already incredibly frustrated, even more flabbergasted than we already were, and it created an embarrassing scene at the restaurant where this server told us to leave? The manager then had to get involved and we had to step outside to talk to her because so much more conflict had been fostered. I started to shake and wanted so badly to cry, I couldn't believe we were getting this kind of service from Denny's. We've NEVER been treated so terribly in any other establishment. I even tipped this take-out order for god's sake. What the hell is all of this? Most of all, I want the 3 hours I spent ordering and dealing with the Denny's this morning back. This is absolute BS!!!!

The manager of front of house was very unprofessional was complaining to customers about being pulled in a million directions. When we got our drinks no straws were offered. The 2 women were not rude just not attentive to customers. When we gave our order for our meal we asked for a side of ranch, had to ask twice after getting our food. We were almost done with the meal. Lastly the waitress asked if we wanted a refill she never brought it. We had to ask for the check and had to wait 5 minutes to m pay. Kind of pricey for the service we received and the food was mediocre.

Barely vegan options. I went a few times and they never updated their menu, everything has meat, egg, etc.

Its Saturday night. Online it says open till 12am, so we walk 3/4 of a mile to get there from hotel, and the door is locked. Its 11:20pm... but theres a sign on the door that says sorry these are the temporary hours... and I'm expecting it to maybe say closed at 11pm. Nope, every night... it says closes at 12am. All the lights were on and at least two workers were in there. They had to have seen us milling around at the door. Seemed like they avoided even looking at us. We called the restaurant twice to see what the deal was. No answer, and the their voicemail greeting is generic.., doesn't even say Dennys. For all we knew, maybe thats not even the correct number. As we were leaving a group of three walked up. We said "the doors locked, they must have closed early." And they sighed, "whaaaaaat?" They turned around and left as well. Good job Denny's, not.

This place needs help guys. It's almost as if the staff is hiding from the customers. Probably the worst service I've ever received "anywhere" almost walked out without paying the bill because I totally being ignored. Everything was request driven not action driven. Literally looked at by staff as if I was a ghost. Didn't pick up plates, didn't check on me. I swear I thought they couldn't see me. The staff, all of them seemed like zombies. I thought I was in a twilight zone episode. All of the condiments were dirty and sticky! I was totally grossed out.

Hostess said "she didn't see me" even though we made eye contact nearly 5 minutes before she greeted me to get me a table. The table was not cleaned from the previous customer (grease/dried spills/crumbs on table). Server was prompt and polite AT FIRST. Took my order/delivered it, I never saw her again. I ordered a burger and they just put salad mix from a bag on it, didn't remove the carrots or anything. No tomatoes. I asked for mayo for the burger, but server never brought me silverware or a knife to apply it, I had to use a french fry. I was one of two tables in the place. They were not stressed at that time. I'm eating at Denny's, I don't have high standards. But this was pretty bad, and it was entirely due to staff. They just sat at an empty table talking the whole time.

Have come here on pure desolation and depravity, it is all I can blame myself for! Kidding! I'm not really a big Denny's person, but when it is way late and you're starving... you don't got time to be picky, ya feel me?! K good. Vegans and fellow vegetarians, heck I'd advise you all to venture out of your comfort zones and try the the imposible burger here. It bomb and I am a former meat eater. Let's dream way big and say something, if he dared to do something I had never done before!?! Spooky, scary, adventurous!

There was some kind of staffing issue going on--we were there for almost two hours and didn't get our drinks until after the first hour, we didn't get our food until an hour and a half, and our appetizer showed up after we got our entrees. All of the food was lukewarm-cool. Others were complaining and walking out, so while we ended up (kindly) saying something about the unsavory experience, we would never visit this location again.

Worse worse Denny ever, no one welcomed us, probably two workers, we sat down in a group of 14 and even said good morning. NO GREETING, no server, flies everywhere in the bathroom and also closed up one of the bathroom, it was horrible. Homeless all around. We left after we all waited over 5 min, still NOTHING!! So we left.

If I could rate ZERO stars I would. We arrived via Amtrak at 5 AM on 7/26. Found this "24/7" Dennys and figured our group could come enjoy an early breakfast. Walked in and said hello to the guy sweeping the floor. No acknowledgement.. crickets.... no response. We sat down and waited for 10 minutes. No one came to take our order. So my sister went up to the guy and said we were ready. He turns at us and turns back to whatever he was doing still no acknowledgement or response. 10 minutes later. Nothing. The guy left to the back and never came back SOOO we left. Rude worker and filthy place. Don't claim 24/7 service if you are not going to provide it. Hire people who actually want to work. The men's restroom was out of order. The women's restroom was filthy and had a ton of flies.
