Recently, We went to this place with my friend, we were with two little French puddles before we entered we ask if we can stay inside with the dogs, they said yes. We ordered our food and even they offered us to bring our food to our table. We wait around 15 minutes and they didn’t bring the food. I went downstairs to ask and the food was on the counter and the same guy that told us “yes you can stay with the dogs” told me “you can’t stay upstairs with the dogs” It seemed very incoherent to me because we were already seated at the table with the first food we had ordered, so I thought "let's finish eating and leave" then he came up and told us "You can't be here with the dogs, you have to leave right now” in a very rude way and we still had the food served on the table because we had not finished. It seems to me to be a terrible act of customer service because it does not make sense and rude. I wasn't going to throw away food I paid for. Definitely a place that lacks a lot of potential in customer service and telling us that we had to leave right now and couldn't wait at least 5 more minutes is until we finished our food. Advice for you guys: Respect the customer and don't throw them out as if they were worthless, you could have been kinder and of course we were going to respect the rules of the place, we were just not going to run away because we had our food served. Definitely, a place where I’m not gonna come never again. ??

Best coffee shop in town, love coming here. Liam made me one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had in the SLC area. Great service, yummy drink, and beautiful neighborhood.

I have to start by saying that when we found this place I was so excited. The description and menu looked amazing, so excitedly we walked to it. When we got there, it became obvious we were not welcomed by the guy at the cashier, maybe he was having a bad day… or so we chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. Still we tried to see the good and decided to stay.We looked over the menu and placed our order. My husband got a Chai and one of their toast. I got a drip coffee and their burrito. The DISTRICT Burrito out of their 3 breakfast meals was the only one that in the description didn’t have egg in it (I don’t eat egg), which is why I ordered it. When we received our order, my burrito was stuffed with egg?? . We proceeded to make the guy making the food aware of this and asked if we could have a solution. He proceeded to tell my husband we could but that he had to charge us ?. We proceeded to point out that the Menu did not indicate that the burrito had egg in it (clearly their mistake, any other establishment would’ve corrected the situation). He replied, and I quote:“that’s not my problem, I didn’t write Menu”!This was very disappointing to us., we had never had such horrible customer service. My husband couldn’t even enjoy his food after that horrible interaction with that employee. I asked for a manager and the girl barista was so kind to call him, however he did not want to speak with me or correct the situation, that made us more disappointed of this place. Yes it is aesthetically pleasing but their customer service is not to the level of what it appears to be in pictures. Their prices are higher than other coffee houses we visited during this trip and we wish we had never stepped foot in here. Such a horrible start to our last day of our trip. No one should have to experience this kind of maltreatment.I am a Google Reviewer and always check out the Star ⭐️ Ratings on every place we visit and sadly this one let us down. I do wish I had taken the time to read more in detail their Reviews bc you’ll see how many there are about them being racist.Sad sad sad!We don’t recommend this place, there are plenty of other welcoming options in the area. Take a risk but if you don’t fit in you will be treated horribly.

I like this place. It's a nice hangout spot even though it's small. Since it's right in a neighborhood, lots of people come with their dogs so that's a plus! I like the variety of options and the servers are friendly. My only criticism is with their matcha. I'm not a coffee drinker, so teas are my only option. Everytime I've gotten a flavor other than blueberry matcha (even plain matcha!), it's not correctly mixed. I end up with a large amount of matcha clumps in my drink cause it just wasn't whisked completely, and it makes it undrinkable. Their matcha is also too strong; I'm guessing they use culinary grade (which unfortunately many coffee shops use even though it's not meant for drinking.) Their other tea drinks are good, and my husband likes the coffee, plus they're right down the street from our church so we'll keep going there. I just wish the matcha was better.

Place is pricey as hell, service is pretty good though. Wouldn’t recommend getting any food unless you’re feeling incredibly generous. I support local businesses and all but this place is too costly for the just alright quality of food and drinks.Im gonna keep going though…

Not from town, stopped in for a latte and it was so delicious! Will definitely stop back in next time I'm in town!

Was so excited to see brandywine roasters in this shop but was throughly disappointed in my drink (an iced latte with simple syrup) that was easily comparable to a Starbucks drink :(

They totally get it. We are here to do two months of brain rehab through skiing. As an SF Bay Area local all the LDS energy can make it hard for me to breathe. We noticed District for the first couple weeks for its wonderful queer vibes. We knew we would love it so when the schedule allowed we ventured in. Co owner Scott is kind and has learned me and my partners names. There is a comfortable upstairs that my partner uses as a work center. There are all sorts of kind touches like tampons and pads in the rest room. Give people kindness respect and humility that’s the way through. This place has that in spades and good coffee too.
