Spring rolls are tasty. I always get the noodles with beef, it's a big meal and very fresh and tasty.

Comfy, cozy and DELICIOUS. We went for the nostalgia as my husband used to go with his family 20+years ago. Everything we had was tastier than he remembered, and it was his family's favorite back in the day. So so good. We'll be back for more soon!

I love the chicken (and tofu) lettuce wraps at East-West. I also recommend the curry chicken and their stir fry with diced chicken instead of breaded chicken. Nice ambiance for a sit down meal as well.

Excellent food in a unique atmosphere. Our meals were delicious; the only issue was the uneven pace at which they arrived at our table.

This place deserves better reviews!!Love that it has an enormous parking lot. My friend and I went at 12 and immediately got a table. The waitress was extremely attentive. We told her we are both gluten free and she stayed with us for the probably 10 minutes it took for us to decide what to order. She kept going into the kitchen to confer with the head chef to make sure our food would be gluten free. I read on here that the lunch special isn't much food so I almost didn't order it but the waitress assured me it would be enough. And she was right! Look at all that! For only $12?? I liked all the mint in the summer roll. Much more flavor than basically all other restaurant summer rolls. I do have to say the dipping sauce was a bit vinegary for me. And the look luck beef was really good!! So tender and the sauce was delicious. I combined it with the rice and it was great. The waitress kept saying she wanted everything to be good so we'd want to come back. Great job!

Everything is delicious! Staff is friendly! "look luck" beef is incredible! The most tender steak I've had at an Asian restaurant!

This is one of my regular stops when I'm looking for good Japanese food. It's not the glitzy or trendy shops that feature sushi. This is a place where you can get the food that is everyday in Japan. It's also converted from a Vietnamese restaurant so it still sells great food like bun and pho. The ramen here is as good as anything else I've had and they also carry udon. The curry udon is my favorite. The service is polite and welcoming. Sometimes the staff can get overwhelmed but the wait is never excessive. Because it's part of a shopping center there is ample parking. It's a casual and quiet restaurant and it's kept well maintained.

Their katsu curry and Tonkatsu ramen with mapo tofu are my favorite, this is my second time dining in, I usually order the Ubereat

I came to visit U of U with my son and we met up with my sister and her fiancé for dinner at East West Connection on Monday, 7/10/23 afternoon for dinner. We chose this place because of the interesting menu dishes, but boy, we were totally disappointed with this place!Service was extremely slow, server does not pay any attention to our table, foods is very sweet for my taste.I ordered the East West Special and my sister ordered vegetarian fried rice, and we both could not finished our food for how bad it tasted. The summer roll and tonkatsu were at least edible. In conclusion, this is an over-priced-Asian-fusion-wannabes restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go some place else. Very disappointed, Seriously!
