This is by far the worst Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! I came to Salt Lake as a visitor, looking for a brunch spot, and since this restaurant has many high reviews, I picked it with very high hopes. However, the whole experience just disappointed me. When I walked in, waiting to be seated, the staff didn’t seem like they wanted to take me. Later, I found out that they closed at 2 pm, but I was there at 1:25, but ok. I waited a while before I got my food, and I was so disappointed. The poached eggs were overcooked, it felt like I was eating a hard-boiled egg, and the hollandaise didn’t taste right to me. Look at how dirty the silverware and the floor looked too! While I was eating, the staff were sweeping, and I felt so uncomfortable because I felt like they were rushing me, there were 3 more tables besides me so I wasn’t even the only table they had to serve before they closed so I shouldn’t be feeling that way. I don’t think I am ever going back to this place if I’m in town again.

Covert Perspective
Came in from out of town, and had high hopes. Their menu sounds like it would be AMAZING. Unfortunately, for the price point, it was disappointing. 3 stars at best. Hollaindaise sauce tasted like cheese sauce on the California Benny and the Churro French Toast was nothing special. Just tasted like regular french toast. I also would recommend making the door where the please wait to be seated sign the entrance, as there is no clear direction where to check in with a host, and its just in the way of everything.

Enjoyed breakfast here about 10am on a Tuesday morning. It’s spring break and when we arrived about 4 tables were full but when we left nearly the entire dining room was full. Our server was excellent, food was delicious, although portions seemed a bit small for the price.Would eat here again.

The menu looked fantastic and I was hoping the dishes tasted as good as described. I was not impressed with the actual food. The churro French toast was basic French toast with Texas toast and some cinnamon and sugar. I was expecting something more (possibly my fault). The breakfast sandwich was simple and bland, not worth the $13 price tag. Perhaps my expectations were too high given the menu; just not a fan.
