It was my first time trying papusas and they were amazing. The salsa and cabbage was divine. Definitely coming back.

El Viroleño has a lovely staff of bilingual (English/Spanish) women who were kind and polite. The restaurant was beautiful with rich colors and a cozy, peaceful vibe. The menu is bilingual and varied with delicious dessert options. The service was fast, the food was very good with large portions with affordable prices. Our party ordered frijoles con queso pupusas which were beautifully plated atop a bed of shredded cabbage with a delicious sauce. There is limited street parking but ample parking across the street. I highly recommend as you will just love the flavorful food here!

We were craving pupusas, and we wanted to give this place a shot. The place itself did not look that pretty, but from my point of view, it looked clean to me. At first we were the only ones, so I was getting worried, but when we placed our order, I saw the lady started prepping them on the spot, so I was impressed, and they tasted so fresh. The plain banana tasted good, and so did the corn tamale.

I love the taste of homemade traditional food. If you are in a hurry, call and place your order ahead of time because the pupusas are made to order, and they take time to properly cook. Once you take the first bite with the melted and abundant cheese, you'll want more!

Guys this place is absolutely amazing!!!! Best papusas I've had (and I've had alot) with an authentic taste and experience!!! The workers were very nice. The red sauce you put on it was so good I could of drank a cup of it! And the cabbage topping mmmmmm!!!! A perfect blend. #blessed

The place is very simple, nothing fancy, but the staff are very warm welcoming and the food is delightful. Something very local, with local food and extremely affordable price. I've been coming here often, and the quality has never changed. Super recommend.

It's unfortunate, this place months ago was good, acceptable pupusas and now, the pupusas are very bad, more dough than anything and the worst, I only ordered a breakfast and 3 pupusas and it cost me $40
It's not the amount, because I know how expensive everything is now a days; But how bad they make the food now, I have been many times and this time will be the last.
Also this place is not Salvadoran food, it doesn't have the touch 😔
