Fun spot, good quick service, however the coffee was just ok and definitely not worth the price. Definitely a nice spot to get something if you’re already in that complex, but not worth going out of your way to try if you’re just getting coffee.

Sweetest staff. Stopped in before work and the girl working the counter was very accommodating and kind. Super stoked this spot shares the block with my office.

Overall a decent stay. Love the energy saving aspects and the aesthetic of the suite, plus all of the fun extras (even though they are advertised as amenities, but it’s really a nonnegotiable inclusion in your booking). I for sure can tell it wasn’t cleaned though, stains on pillows and food under furniture. The thermostat was difficult to control, but maybe user error. We just had a hard time keeping it consistent cause it would either be insanely hot or very cold.

Evo Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Customer service throughout the hotel, from front desk staff to cafe barista, skate park staff, retail store staff, yoga instructors, etc was phenomenal! (A shout out to Kennedy who patiently helped us through last min delays from our Amtrak train because of storms.) Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help/accommodate at every turn. We loved how clean and exceptionally well designed all the rooms were - with no carpet (which we loved!), lots of hooks and storage space, interesting artwork, and effective layouts. There are coolers you can borrow if you need to keep drinks cool, the cafe bar has great drinks and pastries, yogurts, and smoothies, and there is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor. As part of the stay, you have access to all the facilities and we enjoyed the evening yoga classes. There are lots of cute restaurants within a few blocks, and parking in the lot or out front was very easy. This is an industrial area, so there are some homeless people around, but we had no issues. With the fantastic customer service, clean & cook vibes, and all the fun amenities, this will definitely be our go to hotel in SLC!

Pros: Awesome staff- super accommodating and fun and nice and really really helpful Funky hip vibe Crisp room vibe Wasatch room w lanai is key Great roof hang spot with killer view Excellent mint kale smoothies Nice linens Modern bathrooms with cool vibe Modern art and layout Cool books! Nice lighting Eco lighting We really liked it there and are stoked that was our place for the night as we check out the university…so maybe we will be back - a lot:) - barn door suggestions: Clean the deck too- esp floor (we had last persons cereal in the floor- some garbage and some hair clumps - make sure curtains are not broken at the ends and are attached all the way - maybe get firmer mattresses - maybe have hotel overnight guests get a reserved specified area for parking that is safest and surveiled. Because there is so much going on I struggled to navigate this and having it spelled out would have been lovely coming from out of town- in the end I felt safe and out stuff was safe and I was stoked I didn’t have to empty the car:) the north lot is great- just took some navigating. - make sure the bathroom floor is fully cleared of all random stray hair. Especially with concrete floors (which I loved) - replace space rugs when the edges start getting a little matted. - keep the staff we had when we were there! Especially the folks that were there in early evening and day 8/20. The best

The bouldering there was top notch, awesome climbs and a friendly staff that were very helpful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and a nice place to relax after a long day. The Cafe was an excellent way to start the day as well.

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed here when driving our son out to college in CO from CA. After 10 hours on the road it was INCREDIBLE to be able to boulder and get a workout in before traveling again the next day. Wish we could spend a couple days here to fully enjoy all the options even just at the hotel. Great concept.

Room wasn’t big but we liked minimalistic design, and you get everything you need to feel comfortable. Big bathroom. Everything was clean and decorated with great taste. We enjoyed free access to the climbing area, tried this type of activity for the first time and had a lot of fun! Thank you.

This place is a vibe. Very cool concept. Only negatives are the location (industrial, homeless) and thin room walls. Will def stay here again despite the location because its such a unique experience and top notch climbing.

Was in town for work and the hotel was highly functional. Great spaces to work, a fantastic coffee shop, attentive staff, easy wifi and clean/quiet/comfortable rooms. The location is also fantastic with easy highway access and immediate access to the best places downtown. Of course... sometimes work needs to become play... especially when it's nuking in the Wasatch. Forgot some gear or didn't plan on anything in the first place? No problem. evo and L9 are right there with fantastic gear rentals (including high-quality outerwear). Bouldering and skate park are fantastic features, and really bring the entire space together as a place for travelers and locals to meet. A+ route setting and the fitness/sauna make the bouldering gym great for guests. Throw in buzzing bar and a taco truck on site, and there really was no reason to leave. Already planning my next "work" trip to SLC... just so I can stay here.

Great stay, loved the on site amenities, the rooftop bar was definitely a plus! Having a family bunk for our girls trip so everyone had their own bed and space was perfect! The location is a little iffy, not necessarily walkable at night as it’s on a couple dark streets, but close enough during the day to grab a like scooter and be 10 minutes from City Creek and the heart of downtown. Will stay again!

Small coffee stand inside the evo Hotel with limited selection.I got a lavender matcha latte and it was quite lovely! There are some small tables and bench seating directly across from the coffee stand, and some additional seating in the hotel lobby. This is more of a grab-and-go place. They also have some pastries and breakfast items, though I didn't try any this time.

What a cool repurposing of an old granary. Great vibe and beautiful design. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room and bathroom, including comfy bed. Great morning coffee. The outdoor lights were too bright during the night so kept curtain closed. Climbing gym and retail shop and yoga classes are a huge draw that I hope to take advantage of next time. Nice rooftop lounge and little bar. Would stay here again!
