Farr Better Ice Cream - Manufacturing, Distribution and Wholesale Store Front

Farrs ice cream is a good product, however that is not what I'm here to review. Today 11/26/24 I was driving southbound on 89 through south Weber before the Highway 193 exit when a Farrs truck driver was driving distracted and not only went from the far left lane to my lane on the far right side, but cut me and another car off in the process. When I went around the driver to see what was going on he was not paying attention to the road but his phone. When I got back in the right lane and slowed back down to the speed limit the driver then started driving aggressively and went around me in the middle lane while still halfway in the right lane. I looked for a rear plate on the truck but it did not have one. I don't know who Farrs employs normally but I hope they aren't all this negligent.

Does this look familiar? I was lucky enough to fish it out of my mouth after eating your chocolate chip ice cream, disgusting! I feel so sick to my stomach.

As a tractor trailer bringing reefer product in - this place is a little tight but very friendly and easy. Scheduled to drop 0800 arrived at 0715-ish and gates were open. As I was pulling in a nice lady came out and grabbed my paperwork, dock wasn't hard to hit but could definitely get hairy depending on what else is in the yard at the time.

We love brownies on the moon but the last few times we have purchased it there has been no brownies ? please put the brownies back in the moon

I delivered at farr ice cream and had a sample, and it oh so delicious.

The staff was distracted and inattentive and the environment was not clean. The ice cream was okay, but not worth going back for.

I have been a big fan of Farr ice cream I have of late have become lactose intolerant so I have looked for a sherbet and I found it with Farr better the peach mango. My big complaint is with Farr ice cream their customer service doesn't care about feedback. Nor does their sales. Absolutely no enthusiasm from either department.

Great place to get soft serve mix that is ready to go right into the ice machine.

This group use to be so great to work with, now they just don't care anymore, in fact my last call they were ticked they had to attend to our business, I couldn't get any clear answers and they were totally unhelpful and unapologetic. Today my business finds a different provider.

My wife and I haves loved Farr but we are really disappointed you are discontinuing a great vanilla ice cream with only 13 carbs for a new version with nearly twice that many

“Farr Less Toppings” should be their new slogan! I’ve been loving their Brownies on the Moon for years but it seems as though the company is being skimpy on the brownies as of late. I purchased a 1 gallon tub and made sure to count the brownie pieces to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. I counted 5… yes, FIVE brownie pieces in an entire gallon!!!! To put into context, if you get 20 scoops in a gallon that’s 1 brownie bit (the size of a single piece of Cap’n Crunch cereal) for every 4th scoop!!!! You can’t really call it Brownies on the Moon if you aren’t even getting 1 brownie cut up and added to the mix.I’ve decided to start making my own “Brownies on the Moon” by purchasing a cheaper competitor’s gallon of chocolate ice cream and combining it with marshmallow fluff, cut up brownies (yes plural) and possibly some pecans as well. As for the other Farr Less flavors, I’m pretty sure they are being cheap with toppings as well. I’ll be sure to buy the less expensive competitor brand in similar varieties to be certain I am not disappointed in the future.

I just purchased Idaho Mountain Rocky road, which supposedly has a chocolate base, and I think they forgot the chocolate! Big disappointment!
