The hostess told me she'd seat me in a minute. I waited 10 mins without being seated while the staff avoided making eye contact. They wasted my time when I needed food on my break, and they werent evem busy. They literally had one table and the rest of the restaurant was empty. I work across the street and this place is notorious for taking 55 minutes to make a burger and not leaving us time to eat lunch within our 1 hour lunch break. The burgers are forgettable.

So we didn’t eat here actually-we were actually there for a bachelorette but when we went in it was almost completely dead on a saturday night…. what’s worse is that two people from two different tables came up to us and told us to “run for your life!!” basically. so idk what else could’ve gone on in there but we bolted like hell. now we at red rock grill so that’s fun.

I am not sure what place to leave a review for, whether it be Fat Jack's or Southern kitchen as the location listed for Fat Jack's is closed permanently and the southern kitchen has fat Jack's menus, so I'll leave this review on both.

I went here for a work outing and was hoping that it would be a good local gem based on reviews. We get there and are seated, our orders are not taken until about 10 minutes in, which is perfectly fine. What isn't fine is the hour-long wait we then have for our five entrees. Keep in mind that there were only two other groups of three people each there when we got there.

When the food did arrive, it tasted so bland and the sauce that was put on the food was as generic as possible. I'd expect this flavor of food in a school cafeteria, not a restaurant that charges over $20 for a lot of their menu.

The final nail in the coffin was the $17 cocktail that was made out of $3 of ingredients and tasted like it too. Premixed ingredients with cheap liquor. No originality whatsoever in this entire restaurant.

TLDR: everything about this place is uninspired, unoriginal, and overpriced for being so. Don't waste your money.

Yikes! Our waitress was unprofessional and impatient, and when I asked for a entree recommendation, she gave me a sarcastic answer.
After waiting 40 minutes, we decided to cut our losses and leave. The restaurant was deserted except for us, so when we asked what was taking so long, they said “Sorry, the kitchen was down” whatever that means.
0/10 not going back ??‍♂️

I work nearby, so I've tried this place many times. First two times were amazing experiences. The last 4 times I've gone, they're either out of supplies, doors are locked at noon, or the entire staff didn't show up. There's no stability with this staff.

Edible but not flavorful. This is a "Southern" kitchen afraid to use seasoning.

I ordered the Seoul Burger and Lime Mint Lemonade for $23.92.

It was mostly a cheese burger with an egg and the kimchi was forgettable. I've had better kimchi from Costco. This kimchi was fermented just enough to classify it as kimchi but lacked any flavoring.

The fries that come with the burger are "creole" fries. These fries probably came from a Kroger bag and I would argue that there wasn't even any salt let alone creole seasoning.

The lime min lemonade didn't have any mint. It was good limeade but that's not what I ordered.

Service is spotty. I've been waiting 10 minutes after I've asked for a check. Long enough to write this review. But before this, they were fairly attentive.

Really slow service, empty drinks without checking back for refills. Too many things to list here. I never leave reviews and felt compelled to do so for this experience. Don’t waste your time or money.

Not sure what was more underwhelming- the lack of effort from any staff or the lackluster food that we ordered.

Everything I asked for, they were out of- which is strange for a Monday night when no one is here.

Took us 10 mins to seat ourselves at a bar with two other staff members chatting. The drinks were watered down lemonade and a shot of whatever well liquor we requested. Once the food finally did come out we realized we didn’t have silverware and had to wave someone with AirPods in down who tossed us a set (quite literally)

But don’t worry - the staff have a great time not paying attention to anyone dining here

On a scale of 1-5 I’d rather get in a 3 car pile up AND attend jury duty than eat here again. Bravo, this is my very first negative review.

The food was anywhere from terrible to slightly above average. The service was slow and inconsistent. It was 79 degrees in our private room. In addition, they were out of many of their menu items.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Fat Jack's! My husband had the Mormon Burger because we wanted to try funeral potatoes. My son and friend had the Seoul chicken burger and my other son had the Paul. We also tried the hushpuppies, pork belly fries and cheese curds and we all made a big deal of trying each others plates. The meat in the burger was perfectly cooked and the flavors in each burger were creative and mixed really well. The cheese curds were absolutely fantastic, best I've tried. The pork belly fries and hushpuppies were also pretty good, but the cheese curds were the winners. I've probably prefer a little less barbq in the Seoul Burger, but that is simply a preference for less sweet. The flavors blended well and made for a different burger experience. Fries were also very good. The ambience of the restaurant is great and the service was phenomenal. We were all very satisfied, and very full after our meal. We will love to come back and try other burgers!

After a long day we stopped to eat at this restaurant in the center of Salta Lake City.

The menu is very varied and the food is spectacular. I ended up ordering the Mormon burger and it is really exquisite.

We also ordered huspopies and a really good starter with realme pork. The other dishes were the Korean sandwich with everything.

The place is spacious and comfortable, well maintained and with modern and dynamic decoration. The service was very good, Vinny attended to us and was attentive to all our needs.

In the end, chef Colin visited us at the table, very pleasant and shared a couple of experiences with us.

This is a restaurant that I recommend visiting with a big appetite.

We went to the place and it was closed even though in Google maps appeared as open. Then we called them to ask if they were open and they confirmed that they were open, but when we arrived just five minutes after the place was closed. We love their hamburgers but we are really disappointed with the lack of professionalism.
