A real hidden gem in the city.

For a five course dinner at approximately $100.00 a head you expect to have a good meal. Unfortunately this was not the case. We had a party of 13 people and one of the people in our group ordered the fish and chips. He only received the chips and the waiter said sorry and brought the fish after the 5th course..

Okay so the first thing I noticed when I walked into the restaurant was the smell. It smelled not so great and was quite unpleasant. We didn’t even get to try the food. We ended up leaving after waiting for 10 mins to be greeted by our server which we never were hence why we left. Wanted to enjoy the experience but never got the chance.

This was a perfect knights atmosphere from the moment you walk up to this hidden gem. The food was just as good as the environment. It was quite pricey, but I'll probably be back because everything tasted soo good!

A fun medieval themed fine dining restaurant. Cozy and quaint.

UPDATE!! UPDATE!! UPDATE!! UPDATE!!

Since the “owner” wrote such a long reply to my original review, I would like to update my review. Yes, I do know it is a 5 course meal. From what I’ve read from many reviewers on this establishment, it could be possible that it is in a different platform than fine dining. Possibly the ‘seasoned’ chefs you have aren’t seasoning the foods all the time. (Read other reviews on this place)

I made sure to step into the facility and look around before I throw down a couple hundred dollars on something that is going to make me dislike a restaurant. As should anyone else that goes anywhere. Read reviews from honest people before you shell out a ton of money on overpriced places.

The facility is in real need of upkeep. Not only the rear area of the restaurant and back stairs, but the front as well. The price of the food is definitely not reflected in the atmosphere. It appears that they have put the money into building in it, and then never doing anything whatsoever since 1969?? It doesn’t look maintained.

Last thing, there are TONS of other restaurants to choose from, after what I seen, I chose not to eat at this establishment and imagine how many other people have chosen the same way I did because of the reviews they read and seen the way the restaurant was represented when they walked up to a worn out building and considered the high cost to eat there.

I was planning on eating here because I seen a reel on a social media platform and was in awe from what I seen. That’s where the problem is. These reels can make things like a basic, over priced restaurant look outstanding.

One day when I was in the area of Five Alls restaurant, I stopped in and asked the host if I could look around to see what the ambience was like. The host was kind and let me and my friend do just that. I have to tell you, from what I seen on the reel and actually seeing it in real life, it was almost a 180 degree difference. Not completely 180, but you, as the reader can tell what I’m saying.
The location is odd for the setting. We went up the back of the building to a very worn out staircase and the deck to the door was actually mildly scary (I should have taken pictures) it just looks worn out throughout the entirety of the restaurant and outside of the entire property.
As I read other reviews for this exact restaurant, it seems as if 20% of the diners thought it was overpriced for what you get. Many of the diners gave higher stars even when they said it was overpriced.
I want to end with this:
The idea of this restaurant is absolutely wonderful with the medieval setting BUT!
The place just looks and actually is worn out. I believe if they switched property locations and really built it with beautiful wood and made it upscale and classy (DO NOT raise the price because of this, you already have prices that aren’t reaching an actual market class of folks that would eat there) this place would skyrocket with diners.
I REALLY wanted to dine here with a few friends but I will not be doing that after what I seen in-person.
Best of luck to FIVE ALLS! I’ll keep an eye and ear out to see if things change for the better.

Short Review: Fine decor, but fine dining this isn’t. You’re better off tasting food for this price elsewhere. If you want a lovely feel, ambiance, and importantly amazing food you’re better off going to Log Haven or, though more expensive, La Caille.

Longer review:
Pros: Decor
Cons:
- Too pricey for the food. Our food was comparable to Applebees. I had to live off cheap food for a while and I could only use a microwave. I’m sad to say that this tasted exactly like that; bland items that were microwaved. They say everything is made in-house and from scratch, and if so, they should spruce up the recipes. I suppose I’ve seen toon many Kitchen Nightmares and have my suspicions.
- Our waitress was having an off-night, it happens, but she messed up our order twice, poured water all over the floor because she wasn’t paying attention to where the cup was, and had to keep apologizing not only to us but to her other tables as well.
- I do love the decor, but I can also tell that the place is in need of an update. It’s extremely dimly lit (I saw many patrons using their phone flashlights to read the menu), and I’m actually scared to see what the place looks like when it’s actually lit up. It could be fine! But as it stands, it gives off a bad vibe. Get rid of the carpets and old faux leather table cloths in my personal opinion. It reminds me too much of the 80s/90s. Keep with the wood if possible.

This place could be so amazing. I’m a huge Dungeons and Dragons nerd and love the feel of old Victorian. I’d really look into changing up the menu as it absolutely does not match the price. While I won’t be visiting again, I do wish this place luck.

My wife and I were very impressed with the entire visit.
Mark, our server was very cordial and attentive.
The food was excellent.
We both had the New York Steak course.
5 courses.
1st course,
Hors d'oeuvres... Poppy Seed bread with crab dip, and Scottish meatballs in a sauce.
2nd course,
Fresh Fruit...we went with the pineapple sprinkled with coconut.
3rd course
Salad... ingredients were cauliflower, broccoli, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, celery, and olives.
Mark brought bread to our table, unfortunately I can't remember the types, 2 rolls and 2 slices of sourdough.
4th course,
Entree...
New York Steak (was huge, took the remainder home), Baked Potato, with mixed veggies of carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, drizzled with butter sauce.
5th course,
Dessert...
We both went with parfaits.
The entire experience was fantastic, the lighting was dimmed to a perfect illumination for a great ambience.
Our bill with tip was $236.00
Well worth the cost.

This was very unique. I really enjoyed this experience. For a fine dining restaurant, this was actually reasonably priced. The steak was cooked perfectly, the service incredible, and the atmosphere wonderful. I really enjoyed this place. I think we've found our Good Friday tradition.

5 Stars – A Truly Magical Dining Experience!

Five Alls is hands down one of our favorite places to dine—it’s a full-on experience, not just a meal! From the moment you walk in, you're transported to a medieval world, complete with steel plates, goblets, and charming decor that brings the theme to life. The ambience is warm, unique, and absolutely perfect for a special night out.

The food? Incredible. Every dish we had was packed with flavor and perfectly portioned—you definitely don’t leave this place hungry. Even though it was a busy night and there was a slight delay with our food, the staff handled it with such professionalism and grace. They even gave us a 10% discount without us asking, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

Special shoutout to Ashley, our server, who was amazing! She was incredibly attentive, kind, and made sure our night was nothing short of perfect.

We’ll absolutely be coming back for more special occasions. Five Alls has earned its spot as one of our top fine dining destinations!
