Such a fun little spot in Salt Lake's food hall, Hallpass! I ordered the chicken potstickers and the beef bao! The potstickers really blew me away, they had GREAT flavor. I was obsessed with the sauce they put on them!!! The bao honestly seemed like they were from a frozen package and just reheated--nothing special honestly. Didn't really love the sauces they came with, so I ended up just dipping them in the extra sauce on the potstickers plate!

The ramen here was delicious. Service not the best since it was a bunch of youngins'. Food was on point and you pretty much place your whole order on the kiosk.

I was craving a bowl of ramen or some kind of noodle soup and was excited to check this place out. It's located in HallPass at Gateway. Full disclosure, I live in a place where Asian/asian fusion spots are on point and ?. This place is....okay. I ordered the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup. The grilled pork that topped it was excellent, but the rest of the dish left a lot to be desired. Noodles were a little over cooked, toppings were kind of lackluster and the broth was pretty bland. I'd stick to the bao or the other items.

Delicious and fun Asian fusion. This restaurant is located in HallPass, which is basically a food court for adults. This place sells multiple types of bao buns along with rice bowls and a few types of sides. We tried the Philly cheesesteak bao, chili oil fries, and a teriyaki rice bowl. All were delicious, especially the fries. The teriyaki bowl was loaded with toppings.Ordering is done via a kiosk. The wait wasn’t too bad even though HallPass was packed. The prices were a bit high but should be expected in this sort of setting. Employees were very busy and didn’t really interact with the patrons at all.

The glazed pork belly stay was very good. The pieces were pretty meaty and tasted great. The kung pao stuffed bao wasn't bad either. A little sweet for my taste but still quite good

Great food! We are Asian and I have to say that the food was a very unique twist on regular Asian food :) The chili-oil fries were awesome!

We always enjoy our time here at hall pass especially when the super bowl is on and you have the big screens and drinks served. Good can be pricey but it's to make up for the vibe. We usually get the bbq pork ramen, spicy dumplings, chicken wings, and calamari!

Wait... Utah has something this cool? HallPass is an adult cafeteria, with some phenomenal food from various kitchens, and a large full-service bar. Building is made to open up during good weather. Great place for brunch on the weekend, or a quick lunch while out working during the week. Walk around and make your selection on food (this is the extremely difficult part). All tables inside have a button to order drinks from the bar. They have a very large selection of beers on tap, craft cocktails and wine. The Ahi Poke Nachos were so fresh, and the sauces used made the wonton chips a tasty bite on it's own. Colossal Lobster's Connecticut Hot Garlic Butter Lobster Roll may have been one of the TASTIEST, MOUTH WATERING, creations I have had the pleasure of trying. We can't wait to take our family and friends to HallPass.

What an amazing food hall. Has everything you could ask for; and since we couldn't decide, we got a little bit of everything! If we had to choose what was probability the best (and it's a hard choosing), would have to say the fried chicken sandwich from Blaze of Thunder. So delicious and full of flavor. The drinks from Beer Zombie Draft room were also topping on the cake.

HallPass is basically like a glorified food court. There are supposedly 8 restaurants and 2 bars inside, but I only counted 4 restaurants and 1 bar. There was a good variety of choices (seafood, asian, chicken sandwiches, and SkinnyFats which has sandwiches, rice bowls, burgers, and salads). The food is great!!! Everyone in our group of 12 loved their food. At least one person from our group ate at every restaurant, and we concur that there is no "wrong answer" for what to get here. No matter what you order, you'll be happy! The reason why this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was confusing for people who hadn't been there before. There was no guidance on what we were supposed to do -- specifically seating ourselves, ordering drinks, and viewing a menu of the different restaurants and their options. It would have been nice to see a sign that said "Hey! This is how HallPass works!" Overall, we would totally come back. Especially with a big group with different people and different food preferences.

The 4 stars is mainly for the concept and space. It's a large open area with tons of tables and a variety of restaurants centralized for you to pick from based on your tastes. It's casual and they do have bar service as well. Great for groups and casual get togethers. The food, however, was just okay. I had the mad cow bowl from Skinnyfats and it was just a mediocre stir fry bowl. The clam chowder from the raw bar was actually tasty but seemed other food was fine but nothing AMAZING. but again there's something for everyone which is a good choice.

LOVE HallPass What's better than one restaurant? A handful of restaurants in one. And a full bar with local brewery selections. And TVs. And a ton of different seating options whether you want to check out the game or sit in a quiet corner with some mood lighting. This is the perfect place to come with a group that can't agree on a restaurant, they've got something to make everyone happy. The brunch menu looks amazing - I can't wait to try it. I opted for the spicy chicken this time, the chicken tenders were juicy, hot, exceptionally crispy, and generously seasoned with their special spice mix. They come topped with pickles and your choice of a side, I got the macaroni and cheese. Absolutely to die for, great texture, cheesy, and topped with crunchy breadcrumbs/croutons. The bartender was really friendly and attentive, I got the Great Gatsby G&T, it was delicious and humongous, enough to last through an entire meal and then some. Worth the trek if you don't live downtown. I'll be back!

Its like an adult cafeteria and club atmosphere all in one! The food was AMAZING. Went on a food journey here. The place is fun and the food options all look so good at the different stations. A must try place for sure. Will definitely come back for more

Oh my gosh, we loved this place! We were visiting from San Diego, California and had no idea where we wanted to go for dinner. After driving through the city we noticed the beautiful forum that the HallPass restaurant is located in, and we knew we needed to try it! First things first... our dogs were welcome inside! It was 20 degrees and we were dying to find somewhere dog friendly with some sort of heaters but HallPass did one better. Both our pups could lay underneath our chairs INSIDE the restaurant. The drinks we ordered were a bit pricey but they were delightful. Plus you can request FAST bar service by simply pressing a button on the center of your table which makes ordering and closing out a breeze. There's many different restaurants inside but our whole group settled on ordering from skinnyFATS. The burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fried pickles were just amazing! You order at the counter and wait for your buzzer to sound off to let you know when your meals are ready. Keep in mind that it can be loud and hectic inside (it is a bar) ... if your looking for a fun and tasty environment then this is the perfect spot!
