This is the best little spot to stop for a delicious sandwich. It's a cozy little convenience store with a great deli in the back. I've never been disappointed with the food or service here. Plus it's cheap for the amount of food you get.

I have a soft spot for Grove Market and Deli. A family member had an extended stay in ICU at J.L. Sorenson Heart and Lung Center. The nurses and doctors took such great care that we would often feed them to show our appreciation. Grove Market and Deli was one of our go-to places for lunch. After 3 months, Grove knew the routine and had our orders down to exactly how we liked the sandwiches cut in to quarters for easy sharing. It's a small market and the deli is located at the back. They don't skimp on their sandwiches at Grove. These sandwiches are large and in charge. Totally affordable too considering the portion size. Their French bread tastes home made. I'm not sure if Grove makes it themselves in house or if they buy from a different vendor. It's my favorite bread of theirs to use for sandwiches. Grove can get busy, so be patient. Or give 'em a call and pick up your order to avoid the lines. "A Salt Lake Tradition Since 1947", as their menu states. It's a family owned and operated establishment and they truly do treat you like you're part of the family here. I've met many a local here whom have said they've been coming to Grove for years. I absolutely love establishments like this.

When I visited SLC 1st time,it was my 1st sandwich place ever as good or even better away from the East or West coast’s were I have leaved at the time or visited...
