We did the Omakase dinner and it was one of the coolest dinners I’ve ever done. The food was great. The ambiance and company was amazing! I made friends and Corgi out waiter was amazing. He explained every dish then took time to hear our feedback after each one. If you’re coming here I highly recommend the hand rolls. I’ve never had these at any other Japanese restaurant in Utah and it definitely sets this place apart! We will be back! Shoutout again to Corgi!!!

An absolutely fantastic dinner tonight! My wife and I came into town from Bozeman to visit our daughter who had raved about this restaurant… she certainly didn’t overhype it. The freshest sushi I have had, and I’ve had my share. We ate at the sushi bar in the back. Jamie was our chef - awesome guy! Super knowledgeable and he definitely made our dinner experience first rate. Corey was our server and couldn’t have been nicer. We loved the place and will definitely be back when we are back in town or when I’m here for business. Thank you!!

So many places in Salt Lake get a lot of hype because they have a cool atmosphere, etc. Most of those places have overpriced, mediocre food.
Not HandoSake. They have it all. Great atmosphere/ambiance. Great drinks. Amazing food (literally some of the best sushi I’ve ever had). Out-of-this world service—shout out Corey and Jamie for being the best.

Food was enjoyable and the service was good. The door would open and have a gush of cold air every time someone entered or left. A lot of staff compared to the amount of guests. The music was also ok and I felt like I was at a techno rave.

A modern & cozy sushi spot that has some of the best sushi in Utah! Everything we got was incredible. The hand rolls were amazing, but the Ora King salmon sashimi really did it for us! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and the staff is knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions you may have. We had Corey & Junior, they were both amazing! We will definitely be back.
