To the Owners of Honest Eatery Sugarhouse — Lorin and Marcela Warner,

On Friday, August 1, I walked in hungry and asked for food. A young Caucasian employee, who looked a bit different, kept pretending not to understand me and made me repeat myself over and over until I felt so embarrassed I had to leave.

I wasn’t causing any trouble—I just wanted something to eat. It felt like I was being mocked, and it was humiliating.

I believe you, as owners and leaders, wouldn’t stand for that kind of behavior. I wonder how often this employee treats people this way. It’s not okay.

super kind staff. yummy smoothie! love the diversity in choices and protein /add on options. not bad pricing either! i got the sincere! hand crafted local booch! hard to find due to construction. but overall nice experience

These açaí bowls are the best around. They are very fresh and you can make your own. The employees help you and explain everything also. I won’t go anywhere else.

Thank you to the staff and manager today who showed what real amazing customer service looks like. I ordered DoorDash and the driver picked it up but never delivered it to me?? Thanks to the staff and manager at Honest Eatery they made sure to get on the phone with DoorDash and get my ordered remade and it's on its way now. Not only that the manger called me to let me know. Thank you so much!! 💓 ( aka.. Shauna).. you have a loyal customer in me for life.

P.s. DoorDash could have cared less that one of their drivers stole my food. They refused to refund or even credit me!!

Honest has really stepped up their game! The food is amazing and the manager/owner is very nice. If you’re worried about the long wait times, just order it online and walk in - they’re always on time. I originally didn’t like it here but I’ll eat my words with their healthy food options!

First of all, this business ACTUALLY answers their phone!! I called to ask how to best submit a large take-out order for a 11yo soccer team and they said to send an email with the order. I emailed and attached a spreadsheet with the order. Within 30 seconds, the owner emailed me and said the order will be ready at the time I requested. The owner sent me an invoice through a payment portal and we were done. The food was labeled with each child's name on it and the order was delicious & spot on even with substitutions. The integrity, culture, and service of this business was exceptional. They are a model for the food industry.

Went for a Sunday morning brunch with my daughter. The food is amazing! Little pricey, but good little restaurant.

My daughter and I visit this location often and it’s usually a great experience. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill with some of the newer employees. There was no greeting when we walked in, and I noticed the same gloves being used from previous orders even while pressing down the açaí by hand instead of using the scoop. That felt unsanitary.

We always order the same items, but even our Joy rolls were handed off with no smile just an attitude like they didn’t want to be there. When I politely asked for my bowl to be remade (after it was touched multiple times), the employee responded with visible attitude and stormed off at the end, even after I said thank you.

If you don’t enjoy working with customers, you shouldn’t be in customer service. I’ll be going to other locations from now on.

The best acai in Utah with so much option in their toppings much of them you don’t see in other acai places, I like that they make their own acai base and taste the one i used to eat in Rio de Janeiro, the flavor is very authentic besides they have more food options my favorite is their shine panini, but heir cheese rolls are so good too, and my 2 favorite shakes are selfless and sincere, the service is great and they are always kind, you need to try this place.

Incredible food! All the toast options I've tried have been incredible and they really don't skimp on the acai bowls. I was shocked at how much fruit they fit in the small acai bowl, felt like it was absolutely worth what I paid. We try to stop here whenever we come through town because the food here always leaves me feeling good, clean, and satisfied.

Best açaí bowl in SLC. Can’t get enough of this place!
