Hook & Ladder is one is the gems of the Glendale neighborhood, a family business founded in 1972. You'll experience the best service here from the owners and their outstanding employees. The burgers taste homemade and the ice cream selection is delicious.

Very small dining room. That's the ONLY bad thing I can say about HNL. The food here is amazing n me n my coworkers can't get enough. The service is top notch. Staff is just friendly n gives u family type vibes

Growing up watching The sandlot I love this place that it's nearby, my daughter and I go here all the time and get the vanilla cones because they're only $1.25 and you don't have to wait too long they even have a walk-up window if you're just getting ice cream which is super red.
If you think credit card you do have to spend at least $5 just to let you know.
This is a small single store Mom and Pop burger joint. Located near the Sandlot, yes just as it was in the movie.
Stake and pastrami sandwich is delicious here and their ice cream is amazing too

Absolutely delicious. Once of our favorite burger joints. I love supporting this local, family owned business. Their burgers and fries are amazing. I love the bacon burger. The staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend checking them out!
