Small bistro with great food and ambiance. All of us enjoyed it so much that we go there whenever we can. The service was phenomenal. I had the veggie stir fried rice. It had a bunch of veggies served in a huge bowl.

Good food, excellent service, and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere! From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and appreciated by the friendly staff. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a relaxed environment that made our meal even more enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious, and each dish was prepared with great flavor and attention to detail. I ordered the Bún Bò Huế (spicy Vietnamese beef noodle soup), which was rich, aromatic, and full of tender meat, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. The broth had a wonderful balance of savory, spicy, and comforting flavors that made every bite satisfying. My husband chose the Bánh Mì Thịt (Vietnamese sandwich with seasoned meat), and he loved the combination of flavorful meat, crisp pickled vegetables, fresh herbs, and the perfectly toasted baguette that provided just the right amount of crunch. Our daughter ordered the Cơm Heo (rice served with pork), which was beautifully presented and featured tender, well-seasoned pork served alongside fluffy rice and fresh vegetables that she thoroughly enjoyed.

To accompany our meal, we also ordered a Matcha Boba Tea (green tea milk tea with tapioca pearls). It was smooth, creamy, and refreshing, with a rich matcha flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. The chewy boba pearls added a fun texture and made it the perfect drink to enjoy alongside our food.

Everything we ordered tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous. Combined with the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere, it made for a wonderful dining experience. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, delicious drinks, excellent service, and a welcoming place to gather with family and friends.

The food is great! But the middle aged guy is just the worst service. I called ahead and he just didn’t put the order in till I got there so I ended up waiting like I hadn’t called 20 minutes beforehand. Plus I’m pretty sure he double dipped on the tip applying it before it asked for another.

Overall I’d love to come more but this guy on the register makes it difficult. No one else just doesn’t put the order in lol, I know when I see him or I hear him that it’s gonna take a while longer.

We love Indochine! We have tried many different dishes and have always been impressed. We went there recently, and the food was great, as usual.
However, our recent visit highlighted a staffing concern worth mentioning. Only two employees were working on what was a very busy night, so the staff was stretched incredibly thin. They were juggling takeout orders, dine-in guests, table clearing, food delivery, and order-taking all at once. To their credit, both employees were friendly, which speaks volumes given the pressure they were under.
We're hoping this was a night where they were short-staffed, and not the norm, as the food absolutely deserves the support of a full team.

I got a good take out banh mi me from this place, but I made the mistake of going back for a sit down meal with my family.

The restaurant was filthy, with a thick layer of dust on everything but the table tops, and the employees clothes were also covered will various stains.

The service was terrible. There was only one other party in the restaurant, but we sat for 20 minutes before a waiter took our order. We had to ask our waiter for a high chair 4 times before he remembered to bring one out. The first entree came out 10 minutes before the one appetizer that actually arrived, and 15 minutes before the other two entrees. Only One of the three drinks we ordered ever arrived.

I would never eat here again and after seeing the disgusting state of the Restaurant I wish I never had before.

This is one of the best restaurants in Salt Lake City for sure. It was the yummiest meal I had all week. And so well priced for the quality. And Definitely some of the best food I’ve had in all my world travels!!

You must get either of the sizzling crêpes!!

We also got one of the rice paper salad wraps, which was delicious!
And pictured is the Iron Meat Plate.

But the crêpes? Are a must!!

Delicious! My first Vietnamese restaurant and will be back! Great service. Was really quick! I don’t know what the other reviews were talking about. Everyone loveddd the duck salad and the spicy garlic noodle with beef was great. Service was so friendly and they were so helpful and kind. Love the Christmas decorations in April.😎🎉 100/10

This place is amazing!! It’s one of the great hidden gems of salt lake, the vibes are chill, service is exceptional, and food is fantastic. Our server Nahn went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Definitely recommend this authentic Vietnamese masterpiece.

This is my 3rd time here at Indochene. I have been addicted since the 1st time. My favorite dish to get is the crispy egg noodles with all 3 meats. We've also tried the walnut shrimp, pot stickers, shrimp cocktail and lastly the caramelized pork with onions! Everything is so fresh and so so delicious! The staff foes seem short staffed every time we come or they just have their staffing set up like that. It takes a bit to get your food but honestly I think it's a great. We get to talk unwind and slow down for a bit. 10/10 reccomend.
