I ordered a plate of sushi and one of their menu items that was supposed to be served with a bowl of miso.At no point during the ordering process was I told they were out of miso. In fact, I didn't find that out until I asked where it was and they told me they had run out. I wouldn't have ordered what I did if I knew they were out, and they still proceeded to charge me full price for what was essentially an incomplete meal.I'd think normally, if part of a meal is unavailable, you would put up a sign or tell paying customers that you're out of it. Not just... Let them find out on their own when they finally get tired of waiting and ask.Will not be returning to this location

this place was packed on our Friday night visit. Luckily, there were only two of us, so they were able to save us pretty quickly. I actually really appreciated the fast service. Our server ordered our food quickly and brought out our food quickly. and I mean no mistakes. we ordered a variety of special roles, as well as ramen noodles, takoyaki, and warm sake. For the price you pay, you definitely get your bang for your buck.

Very slow service. Online order took over an hour. After arriving to pick it up, I got to wait even more. I'm writing this as I continue to wait. I thought the point of ordering online was so you didn't need to continue to wait. The heavy set guy has a bad attitude. When I did order online, my quoted time was 20 minutes. After I ordered, the acknowledged 20 minute prep time. Then almost immediately, the pushed the pick up time back nearly an hour. This is pretty deceptive and just shady. Don't eat here.

There was a strange smell I think they were cleaning it smelled like bleach and that’s not good for a food establishment I hope they take this in consideration so I can come back. We went just after they opened. The nigirii was good. The rolls were fine and pretty normal for sushi here in Salt Lake City. What was excellent was the fish. Our server let us know that the fish was delivered that day just before they opened. The blue fin tuna was top-notch and melted in your mouth. I would go back just for that! We also had the plum tea that was refreshing perfect warm sweet and sour flavors. Sadly, the food was so good that I didn't get a chance to take pictures. ? in this case, no pictures are a compliment.
Food was absolutely amazing. Food tasted fresh and good. The service although, was pretty terrible. As soon as we got in our “server” looked at us bewildered and struggled to find a seat for us, though it wasn’t that busy. After we got seated and ordered our appetizers, several other employees came up and asked if we were ready to order. Such a lack of communication and organization. I had to remind my server about my appetizers, after we got our entrees. The menus were grabbed away from us without us asking and I had to wait 15 minutes for anyone to even come near us to ask for the menus back. I was not done ordering ? The bill also was pushed on us while we were still eating and about to order desert. None of the employees looked any sort of professional or like they even knew what to do. Service was terrible. Would rather take out.

came with my boyfriend for dinner. we’re on vacation to salt lake so we were pretty excited to try some food spots out here. went here with high hopes, left very disappointed and still hungry. food was alright, pretty basic sushi options and flavors. menus were taken from us while still wanting more, servers left many messes and were unable to supply us with any sauce (which i had to take from the table next to us). other people in the restaurant were also not very happy, sitting and waving to servers as they were yelling across the lobby. definitely not my first choice in any situation for sushi.

Well made and beautifully presented to its quality I'm a huge fan sushi and Ittos is the only sushi place in SLC I have never left disappointed, best quality I've had in Utah.

Food was decent although sashimi was straight out of freezer as we could feel some frozen ice on it but we were disappointed by the service, they didn’t give us any napkins or chopsticks, basic cutlery to eat and I had to go pick it up twice myself from the counter and none seemed to have realized until I ranted

Itto is amazing and it is a spot I adore and have gone to multiple times with friends and family. The food is spectacular, and is brought out in a very timely manner. The service is polite, but more hands off than I am accustomed to. This is in no way to say that they are bad, they just leave you be to enjoy your meal and company. The dining area is cozy, but slightly crowded. Overall it's a great experience and a solid place to eat.
