I rarely leave reviews but I just wanted to say that I tried this place last week (I tried their Ivory Mocha which is pretty good) and decided to come back to try their matcha (I asked if it was possible to make Oatmeal Cookie latte into a matcha), I have been there everyday since for that matcha. It’s so yummy and I tell everyone in my life about it. My warning is that it is pretty sweet but I don’t mind it at all. The flavor is so unbelievably good too, it’s not artificial or overbearing even with it being sweet. And the matcha is so gorgeously green and smooth. I’m not even a big matcha person. Java Jo’s please make the oatmeal cookie flavor permanent if it isn’t already because I’ll forever be there everyday for that matcha. The latte version is also pretty good but not as sweet as the matcha just because of the espresso (which again I like both versions so I don’t mind) ! These photos were all three days I’ve come back and I’m excited to get another.

Love the Ivory Latte and the Purple Haze definitely hits!
I'd like to know more about where they get their coffee from. How is it, compared to many other coffee kiosk, that they make it so tasty. I started drinking coffee around 2012. And I moved to Salt Lake in 2014. I've tried other coffee drive-ups, but the flavor in Java Joe's Coffee cannot be compared. It's just good. And they have long lines, yes, for a reason. So I could never complain about the wait. Because I know I'm going to love what I get. And the bagels they offer from Rich's bagels. Again another high quality company. But on top of that, the service is excellent. I feel like I've made friends with my coffee kiosk. They're very kind, they're very friendly. And they give out dog treats to my dog :-) they've seen me drive through there windows celebrating, and they would celebrate with me. They've seen me drive through the window grieving and they've grieved with me. They're generous. They care about their customers. But the quality of their coffee is what shines through.

Asked for half sweet latte and was incredibly sweet. Would be careful about getting any sweetener at all.
The place and the people were nice. The coffee was a bit off.

This is a great place to get coffee: near the hospital, in the avenues, close to downtown. Definitely focused on car traffic. Coffee was good.

Always solid coffee and great service. Even in their busiest time your coffee will taste good. I’ve had to come to Java Jo’s after trying to branch out because anywhere else is a gamble whether or not you’re gonna get a good latte. Here I can guarantee I won’t waste my money.
