From the meager beginnings (aves) to multiple locations all over the place, this company has done things right. They just donated a bunch of cups to a regular patron (me) for a science experiment with my students. Thanks everyone at Java

The tipping situation has gotten out of control. I'm so sick of being asked to tip whenever I get coffee from here. Please pay your employees more so they can stop hounding the customers. It's exceptionally irritating to be asked if I want to tip when I just get a simple coffee. I can't go here anymore because I don't want to deal with it.

Staff are always friendly, get my order right, and genuinely express appreciation when you tip. My go-to coffee place near my house.

I’m really sad to be making this review but I felt compelled to share this story. I go to Java Jos every single day and most days I end up going twice. Often times when I stop for a coffee, I will ask for a water cup or two to fill up my water bottle because our home faucets are not safe to drink from. This has never been a problem but this particular day, Chelsea wrote a fairly condescending comment on my water cup that I was really sad to find when I got home. I go to Java Jos 7 days a week and always tip. Emily, the manager, who is always so lovely, apologized for Chelsea’s poor behavior the next day and expressed that she asked Chelsea not to do that and she still did. Frankly, Chelsea’s behavior was hurtful and I could’ve simply explained to her why I get water cups if she just asked me. I have been coming to Java Jo’s almost every single day for the last year and a half. The gals there have been nothing but lovely until this experience, including Chelsea. I am saddened that this experience happened and has made it difficult for me to enjoy the Java Jo’s experience. I will be reconsidering coffee shops to visit with my family moving forward.

The coffee here NEVER disappoints. The cinnamon dulce is AMAZING. Seriously never tried anything I wasn’t obsessed with here. Plus, the staff is so friendly and has great energy. They have great recommendations and are super quick. 100/10.

I ordered a frozen chai with oat milk base and espresso. They refused to make it because of the oat milk. I then asked just to blend what I was getting, like just easily blend my iced chai? They refused. Like literally, it was awkward and really had zero reasoning as to why? Even the manager listen to her and didn’t have an explanation either. Just a flat out NO.

Coffee was good. Service could have been better. They charged me almost a dollar more than what was listed on the menu. Then instead of giving me a $5 bill back they gave me 5 ones.. Which would have been fine if I hadn’t intentionally given them an extra dollar so I could get a $5 bill back.. that combined with the unfortunate attitude from the baristas made for a less than enjoyable experience.
