I was in Salt Lake City’s Downtown area and ended up stopping into Knesset’s Bakery and Cafe just to see what they had.
I didn’t realize I had a sweet craving until I saw the Chocolate Dome. It’s a cake base with A LOT of chocolate mousse on top covered in a hard chocolate shell. I really enjoyed the chocolate dome 👌 👌

I generally like Kneader's, but this particular location is so SLOW! They really need training on moving things along. 20 minutes in line just to put in our order!

Soggy sandwiches, bad customer service by the employee named Spencer. I don’t recommend coming to this location. This employee was very rude. And the service was bad!
I ordered a hot café latte, but I was given an iced latte with cold milk instead

Lady taking out order got passive aggressive out of nowhere when we asked a simple clarifying question. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it tasted like mayonnaise

I ordered DoorDash and the French dip was good. However I did find a worm in my soup. I am beyond upset.

I ordered a Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich . The bread was old, hard and dry. The turkey on the sandwich was dry and crumbled. They also only put one the scoop of crumbled turkey on the middle of the sandwich . There was no sauce on the sandwich so it made it even more dry. I tried my best to make it work but I couldn’t. I could only eat 2 bites. I’ll never order from this location again

I visited this kneaders location, as I had great experience at the one near SLC airport. However this location does not have a good service.
I asked for soup & sandwich. The store said they were not serving the soup because they were going to close in 15 mins. I ordered just the sandwich, but it was subpar and not as good as other location.

I am from out of state and typically head straight to Kneaders as soon as I get to town. This was my second on this trip- yesterday I stopped at one and walked out at the smell of rancid grease immediately upon entry. Today was barely better. I ordered a grilled tuna and a small cup of tomato bisque for a total of approximately $15, I drank water.
The music was so loud that apparently I didn't hear the gal call out my name - she appeared irritated when she dropped off my meal.
My sandwich was less than pleasing. The first thing I had to do was remove 1/4-1/2 of the edge of bread because the tuna didn't reach the edges. While the bread was grilled, the tuna was ice cold and the cheese wasn't melted. It was beyond disappointing. The soup was adequate but didn't make up for the bad sandwich with the high dollar price tag.
My sister was equally unhappy with her meal, but I'll leave that for her to review. Kneaders is no longer on my list of must-visits when coming to Utah.

If you like the weeds from your backyard then maybe you’d like it. Or maybe get a sandwich
