Can’t speak to the quality of this place, only that their phone goes straight to voicemail when you call. Guess we won’t be getting take out here.

Karate is delicious and that spicy mayo sauce is phenomenal! Their summer breeze sushi is a perfect balance of citrus, sweetness and freshness. 10/10 would recommend.

Normally me, my husband and friends really enjoy this place. The food is always great, but tonight the service was to be desired. I understand that sometimes there's shortage in staff or you have a big party. The thing that rubbed me the wrong way was they wouldn't split our checks because we were a party of 6 or more.... (we were 6 including a baby. Our checks had been split many other times before with our numbers above 6). Finally the server said that he didn't normally do this but that he would split our checks 50/50 which we agreed. When we got our check we saw that a tip percentage had already been charged for a large group of 6 or more. Seriously?! Also a friend has normally been able to get a military discount in the past but this time we were told they don't do that.🤦

Excellent appetizers, sushi rolls, and Japanese entrées. The service was friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Will absolutely be going back.

Made mistakes in our simple pickup order twice in one evening - the staff didn’t know their own menu and kept forgetting items. You can get better quality sushi and better service for the same price elsewhere.

We ordered six rolls and they were great. The one that stood out for us was the Shrimp Nips, it had everything one could love. We also had the spicy edamame and a enjoyed the spicy secret sauce. Ask around great experience.

We have ordered the chicken karaage, Tonkatsu Ramen, Shrimp Nips Sushi, and DTH roll.
Chicken Karaage and the spicy mayo sauce it came with were the best. The rest of the items were all edible but not great. The DTH roll tasted like eating just oil. I struggled to even have one piece.
The service was good, though.
Overall, I don't think I would go back.

Way to give me a 20% gratuity for just having a large party with NO WARNING.

Born and raised in Salt Lake. Personally, best sushi in town. The sunrise, duke, and Pablo Escobar are my fav roles.

By far the best sushi I've had. So impressed with the different ways chefs made nagiri. I'd say it's best I've had in Utah.
