This is by far my favorite ramen place in Utah. I’ve been so many times and realized I’ve never written a review. As someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in Japan their Tsukemen is the closest thing I’ve found to Japan. I get it every time and it’s 100% my comfort meal. I can’t recommend it enough. I bring all my family and friends here.

The miso soup is wayyyyy too salty.
The waiter told us the wait is 25min, but we waited 50min and asked them and they managed to seated us as soon as we asked…
Every employee seems so busy, but there r many stuff for not so many customer, we got water ourselves, I couldn’t find someone to add more wasabi and no one ask how we r doing…

Probably one of the best places to get ramen in SLC. They don't take reservations but the wait isn't too bad.
Great way to pay at a restaurant, similar as can be to many Japanese and Korean restaurants I’ve been to in their countries. Great atmosphere, selection, alcohol and staff. Would highly recommend to anyone in town. Challenges the top of the ramen game in SLC!

The vegan ramen is actually insane (don’t mind the egg - i added it on) I have NEVVVERRRR had a vegan ramen this flavorful! Most broths are just watery and not good but this broth was incredible!! So filling and so yummy!

Fusion Japanese inspired Gen Z restaurant!
This restaurant is more fusion than Japanese, 100% Gen Z! You order and pay off the QR code (tired of QR codes now) minimal interaction with servers. If you want to add an item they refer you to add it yourself to your online bill but they can add items.
Food is just ok, too fusion focused. There are too many flavours going on the Shishido peppers. The Ramen taste like it’s beef broth. The brisket was good! The TanTan mein tasted off and was just ok. The grilled Mackerel was good. The menu show an entire Mackerel but they only serve you half a fish. The homemade chips were good but I would not pay for it. The house pickles were not good. The decor was simple and clean.
I was confused if I should tip as much as a regular dine in restaurant. Everything is through the QR code online billing. Will not come back I prefer more authentic cuisines.

Fantastic, awesome seating. Individual QR payment is great. Has the Tonkotsu Tsukemen (Dipping Ramen), which was meaty and flavorful. The wings are excellent, whipped tofu is pretty good, like hummus. The gyoza was fantastic as well.

As a person that considers themselves a connoisseur of Vegan Ramen, koyote in my opinion has the best in Salt Lake. Their tantanmen hits every single time. Pair it up with a Dr Pepper and you got one of the best meals on earth. The quality of Ramen here is very good. I’m sure every other thing on the menu hits as well. Can’t go wrong going for anything here.

The price is not cheap for a bowl of ramen, but it’s worth the money I spent!.

Restaurantji Recommends
Would give negative 5 stars if I could. The worst food I’ve ever had. The meat and rice is ultra salty, feels like they put whole bottle of soy sauce in it. Definitely over seasoned. It is not Japanese(or any Asian) food for sure. If you like drinking soy sauce, highly recommended this place

We went here earlier this week and the food is absolutely delicious! We got a variety of dishes, including whipped tofu. Don't underestimate this dish, it is way better than you could imagine. I could get 3 servings of this and be happy with getting nothing else 😂. The restaurants ordering system is on your phone, and I really enjoyed it. It's simple, and less work for both parties. Also, no need to worry about all food hitting the table at once; they watch how quickly you eat and prepare each dish according to where you are at on your current dish. This is ensures delicious and fresh food for each piece of the meal. I greatly appreciated how thoughtful the restaurant and staff were for doing this. It's clear they take time to develop flavors and give depth to each dish. There is pride in the food they make here, and you can definitely tell. We are definitely returning here, can't wait for our next dining experience with Koyote.

Best ramen in SLC!!! We went for a birthday brunch and our experience was amazing. French toast is a must try, it was so good! Tantan-men was so spicy and flavourful. The restaurant itself is so cute and the service was excellent. We can’t wait to go back again!
