First time here and will absolutely be coming back! We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty packed. We ended up waiting around 35-40 minutes. They don’t have traditional handheld menus, they have QR codes at the table you’re seated at. The menu has lots of options to pick from and we loved everything we tried. We sat in front of the kitchen and were able to watch the kitchen staff hand make everything. The food tasted fresh so flavorful!

Love love love! Can’t recommend this place enough!! The miso brown butter ramen is so rich, it warms the soul! I’m so excited to come back on a snowy day. The pork belly appetizer was by far the star of our meal. It was crispy, sweet, and tangy. The pickles that come on the side of it are just an added layer of flavor. Highly recommend

Cool place husband found via TikTok, food was great! Service was very friendly, prompt, professional. I really enjoyed their house beer. The sake don and karaage wings were excellent, and the house pickles were quite tasty. The ramen was very comforting, definitely add the wontons. We will be back, what a great gem on the west side!

We really loved Koyote, stopped here on a quick SLC vacation. The ramen was excellent-really well balanced and proportioned, we really enjoyed the lotus chips and pickled veggies as well. My only complaint is ordering via the QR code. The program was soooo slow, wouldn't load. It was frustrating. Your server comes to your table multiple times.... is it really that hard to take orders as well?

WOW! This restaurant adds to the rapidly growing list of great restaurants in the salt lake area. This may have been the best ramen I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few bowls of ramen. I got the brown butter miso ramen and let me just tell you there was not a drop left in that bowl. Many people complain in the reviews about the QR code system at the restaurant - it’s actually a really efficient and simple system. I can’t wait to go back!

Food was good. To order food you have to use a qr code. I had to open another account to order the food. I wonder if you can eat there when you only have cash.

Dietary restrictions: The Atsu Kimchi and the Shoyu Ramen were incredible! So full of flavor and rich. I’m happy to have found a place that serves gf ramen in SLC. Not to mention the atmosphere is romantic and cozy. Koyote for the win!

Good ramen and great vibes in the restaurant but $20 for the super small amount of brisket they give you is pretty pricey :/ also hate the phone ordering and having to type in your credit card info into your phone before even getting your order to go through
Food and vibe are great. Better than Jinya, that’s for sure.
Not usually fan of QR code menus or ordering (at all) but dare I say this place may actually be doing it right. The person I was dining with an I each ordered independently on the app and an effort was made to bring the appetizers, entrees, and drinks out at appropriate times and in unison, and not randomly, as has been my experience at other restaurants. The app also allowed us to open a tab and close out/tip at the end, after service had been provided and not before, Which is a huge pet peeve of mine.
Great food but will unfortunately not be returning. This restaurant has decided to follow the modern trend of QR Code menus (annoying but workable) and not allowing you to order with a server but instead requiring you to order through a mobile website (atrocious, why do we allow this). I don't go out to eat to have to whip out my phone and ignore the company I'm with for a bit, I go out to eat for human connection and communication - the food is just a bonus. Other ramen options in SLC offer a better dining experience.
