Wow that was good...
HOME MADE FOOD AND DRINKS
This place was FABULOUS! The flavor & portion size was perfect. The presentation of the food was beautiful. Did I mention they make homemade by hand corn tortillas?! As a daughter of Mexican immigrants this is a big deal to me and feels like “home”. A small restaurant but great place for REAL Mexican food. A little gem I found today!
Stopped in for a quick lunch around 1pm and was served very quickly. Food was great.
The Carne Asada had a great flavor with a fairly generous portion size. The tamale that we got hardly had any meat in it but it did taste good.It seems like only one guy was working there so he was pretty busy taking people’s order and running back to cook the food. Super impressive to see that kind of hustle!
The food was good we got a molcajete for 2 people. The price was good not over. Definitely come again.
Small but comfortable place. Food is excellent
The best seafood in salt lake

It’s way good every time. They’re slow...really slow but some of the gnarliest flavors in town! The beans are the best I’ve ever had and in the same city as the red/blue iguana places, their chili verde stacks up to the zagat rated places here too. The appetizer chips/salsa is wicked good. But know you will wait. If dining in, 30 mins minimum to get food. I ordered a to go large cup of chili verde & waited 20 mins standing at the register in an empty building. I think the guy went out back and smoked a bowl or something. But he came back & put my order in a cup & gave it to me. Just took forever but totally worth it.
We love this place, food is really good mariscos and the molcajete are my favorite.Best place to come and eat Mexican food here in Utah.
The staff was friendly. But food was overpriced for the quality..
