Be willing to wait for a table…1000% WORTH IT. The food is amazing & never disappoints, the staff has never been in an unpleasant mood, atmosphere is always inviting. Let me say it again the food is AMAZING. Highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict or the traditional. I also can’t say anything bad about Shay who was happy to serve and ON IT if we needed something.

Came to get some breakfast at this place, and it was really good! The gravy was good, but I think next time I will get the Lazy Deluxe vs the biscuits and gravy. The Laxy Deluxe comes with chicken, which was very fresh but just a little bit salty, but still it was really good and moist. The pancakes were also really good with coffee.

This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in Salt Lake! My favorites are the vegan Benedict and the lemon pancakes are to die for!! But you can’t go wrong here! But if you are at a loss for what to order get the lemon pancakes!
Also the staff here is great and friendly!

Eat here. Make the drive, put your name in for a table and WAIT. It's 100% worth it.
We were in downtown SLC to celebrate St. Paddy's Day and needed brunch the next day. We have the unfortunate combination of a love for brunch and a dairy allergy so we Googled "vegan pancakes" and Lazy Day was one of the contenders in the area.
Their expansive menu drew us to them and we will probably go back again. We each had the Lazy Day breakfast with two eggs, meat, potatoes and toast AND shared a stack of vegan pancakes. SO. GOOD.
One of us is a lifetime member of the Clean Plate Club and the other is of a disciplined "this will be great for dessert" mindset. We both walked away from Lazy Day extremely content.

The open faced breakfast sandwich was delicious! Our table also ordered and loved the lemon pancakes.
Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options on the menu.
Kid-friendliness: We had a 2 year old dining with us. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer a kids menu, but the lemon pancakes + sausage are 10/10 kid-approved.

How have we lived within 2 miles of this place and JUST discovered it? Seriously one of the best breakfasts either of us have ever had. The chicken and waffles was mind blowingly good. The open faced sandwich was so savory. And the hashbrowns! We will be back

When I travel to Salt Lake City to see loved ones, a visit to Lazy Day is a must. The food is comforting, well-seasoned and delicious. I will always share a lemon pancake and get extra syrup, the taste of it is so unique and yummy. This restaurant is family owned and operated, and they take pride in their work. I’ll be back every time!
Cheap, cute, fast, and delicious!!
