One of those rare old school diners with old school diner vibe. Friendly staff. Loved the food. Loved the pies!

Pretty good food. The booth was a tight squeeze so a heads up to bigger people.

I hosted a group for Thanksgiving lunch at Left Fork. Everyone was on time for the reservation except for one but she arrived as our waitress hit her side of the table for salad/soup orders. We did have a bit larger group so we received our meals at about 35 minutes past our reservation, at which time our waitress approached me to let me know that the table had been reserved the hour after us and that we had 25 minutes to finish our meals and leave. Anyone that wanted dessert had to take it to-go. The food was delicious and Claudia was great. While we certainly had no intention of camping out for the afternoon it seems it would’ve been appropriate at the time we made the reservation to be told that we could only have a table for an hour. Still waiting for a call back from the owner.

Ate brunch here. Had the open face turkey meal with real mash potatoes and thick pieces of turkey. I had left overs! We also had real baked potatoes (you can tell they aren't heating ready made food) and eggs in the hole. Everything tasted great! We will come again.

Food is still bad. Each time our group goes there we swear never to go again. Good news is that the rude and obnoxious waitress is gone.

I've never seen anyone mess up a Reuben sandwich before. Today, I tried Left Fork's Reuben, which looked great, but tasted like soap and moldy cheese. Absolutely disgusting. Sadly, it was a to-go order, so I can't send this travesty back. The rest of the order (meatloaf sandwich and pulled pork sandwich, fries, coleslaw) was mediocre, indifferently made with little attention toward flavor/seasoning. The fries were soggy, not crispy, and overseasoned.

What a waste of money. I really don't mind if a restaurant shoves its weak social views in my face with lamebrained flags if the food is actually good, sort of like how blue-haired Millennials with piercings make the best espresso. However, Left Fork flubbed everything. Now, please excuse me. I need to go make myself a sandwich that doesn't make me gag.

Avoid Left Fork.

I came here maybe more then 15yrs ago& had the best pancakes. Fast-forward to 2025 — cheese fries are still 🔥 but the breakfast was a letdown. Lemon blueberry pancakes were a bit burnt, Eggs Benedict missed the mark, and the potatoes had no flavor. Service was fine, though the waitress checked in a little too often. Overall, not a spot I’d return to.

The spinach artichoke dip appetizer and clam chowder were excellent! The entrées-not so much. Maybe it was an off day for the staff, but we were still disappointed The atmosphere was not inviting at all, though I did appreciate the waitress being nice enough. I wish we could've tried the pies.

We just happened to stumble across this place when we needed something in the area but boy oh bky are we glad! It's such a cute, quaint place and the staff is lovely, the food is absolutely delicious, and that was the fastest I've ever gotten food after ordering! They make damn near every single thing from scratch and it's juts a vibe! Wonderful place, we will definitely be coming back often.

The pies, the pies, THE PIES!! The strawberry rhubarb is unreal - can’t go wrong with any of the flavors, honestly. One of the few places in SLC that never has a wait for breakfast on the weekends. The daily specials are always a hit and I crave the buckwheat pancakes!
