Tee time at the lobby lounge was such a fun experience. We did this as a date to rekindle our marriage, and get to know each other once again. And I couldn't have asked for anything better. I made reservations a few weeks ago, and I've been thinking about it ever since and it definitely did not disappoint. We had so much fun drinking tea, eating all the delicious food, and listening to the live harp music in the background. Background. As two people that are not very fancy, it was fun to dress up a little bit and pamper ourselves with something fancy, such a tea time in the Grand American hotel. And at the end of it all we had mimosas, I had peach and my wife had lavender; both of our drinks were really amazing. One thing we did not realize ahead of time, is to park at the hotel and when you pay your bill, they will give you a voucher for free parking.

Love, love, love coming here at least once a year to do afternoon tea. The music and the ambiance are incredible. The tea is always fantastic. The service couldn’t be better. I have booked a room a couple of times to enjoy the spa, afternoon tea, and an evening cocktail.

Came here for a Sunday Afternoon Tea with friends for the first time. The service was good and we never felt rushed. What I loved most was the harpist playing live music. The food was just okay if I had to average it out. The tea sandwiches were great, but the desserts were all on the drier side. I ordered a peach mimosa that was okay. My white petal tea tasted watered down to me as well. It was pricey so I was expecting the food to be better. My friends and I still enjoyed the atmosphere even if the food was subpar. We were seated in a corner which was great as the lounge gets really noisy. I may come back if someone asks me to enjoy an Afternoon Tea there, but I won't be suggesting it to anyone myself.

In the lobby of the Grand America hotel, they offer Afternoon Tea (you have to make reservations ahead of time).Such a fun and fancy feeling to it all. Their signature dandelion tea is excellent. If you have multiple people in a group everyone should order different teas then you could try multiple options as they bring an individual pot per person.Along with the various teas/hot chocolates/mimosas, they serve various finger sandwiches, English scones, and an assortment of tea pastries.Definitely would recommend anyone to try it at least once.
Parking: They give a parking voucher if you come for tea. Just ask the server if they don’t offer it up.

Tea time at Grand America is such a fun experience and is worth trying. The food is great, the tea is fantastic, and whatever the whipped dessert they give you to start is, I dream about it. I've gone for Mothers Day a couple times, and a few other random occasions. My only complaint is it they don't seem to change the food. Ive been probably 4-5 times and it ends up being the same. Some different seasonal changes would be fun to mix things up!

Great place to spend a Friday afternoon and experience some unique sounds. Some pleasant piano earlier, that changed to a very funky three piece band.
Afternoon Tea - 5 stars for environment, with the plush setting and harp music. But the food was disappointing and/or skimpy, particularly for the price. Sandwiches were "ok" - none of us in the party loved any of them. The strawberry with cream was a nice. Lemon curd u0026 clotted cream were great - but only one very small scone each. Other than the macaron and a fresh fruit gum drop type thing, the cookies / desserts were bland and dry. The tea didn't stay very hot, and my companions who ordered hot chocolate said it was lukewarm and not all that flavorful. So, overall, a disappointment compared to other afternoon teas I've been to. Wish there were more options for Afternoon Tea in Salt Lake.

Delicious drinks, but the most expensive I’ve ever had in SLC. Also, you have to order food to get drinks (because it’s Utah). So we were made to order chips for $3 before we could get cocktails. I believe my mule was $19 pre tip.
Delicious plant based menu. Smaller portions of food and kind of pricey, but super worth it for the flavor, quality, and atmosphere. Pianist on most nights and jazz trio Fridays and Saturdays starting at 7pm. Amazing live music!!! Every day from noon to 3:30 they have tea time, it’s very boujee and delicious. Every participant gets their choice of tea from the menu, chantillies, scones, and then a big tier of yummy finger foods. A harpist usually plays and it’s gorgeous! You are also able to order champagne or a plate of imported cheeses, yum. They also have vegan and gluten free options during tea. My favorite dish during dinner is the cauliflower wings, oh my gooooooodddd they’re so good. The calamari is also great, and they have the best impossible chicken and beef I’ve ever had.
Never thought we would find such opulence and elegance in Utah! Wonderful lobby restaurant with regular chairs or couches to choose from, many with a view of the lovely courtyard. A plant-based menu is offered from 5-10 pm which I really appreciated. You can get meat options too but the plant-based dishes are substantial and delicious - you won't miss the meat at all! Wait staff is very pleasant and friendly. We had a wonderful pianist on the evening we were there. Highly recommend the potato leek soup, the fresh salad, and the mushroom lasagne (warning - it looks small but it's really filling!)

The short ribs were tender and tasty. We enjoyed live piano music while we dined. Our wait-person was pleasant and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed.
