Had the most amazing time at tea at the Grand America. Everything was incredible and the staff was so kind. Our server Leif deserves a shoutout because he put our experience over the top.

Afternoon tea at the Grand America is truly the best! The tea and treats are great, but you can't beat the ambiance. I loved the live harp player and the staff were so attentive. Such a good activity for a girl's day!

We've gone to this place many times through the years. Sometimes we bring parties of 20+, and sometimes it's just the two of us. The staff is always so great. They take your dietary needs seriously. They explain each step of the process, and know what is in each food item. We've never had a bad experience with the Grand Tea room, and we'll be back for sure soon!

A lovely setting to have Afternoon Tea. This full tea is a filling meal comprised of delicate treats, both for the eyes and palate. Charmingly served with bottomless tea.

Per person: Four finger sandwiches, a petite scone with cream, curd and heavenly jam, and a Madelyn. Dessert course: an excellent macaron, mini pear tartlet and a raspberry mouse accompanied by one last tiny cookie.

The service was very attentive; our waitress really wanted to make us happy. Reasonably priced for such an elegant hotel. We will be back anytime visiting Park City or Salt Lake!

We stayed at The Grand America for a girls' weekend. Afternoon tea was a wonderful experience! I made reservations in advance, and we were seated at the coveted table by the window which overlooks the beautiful courtyard. The food was delicious and just the right proportion for lunch. We did take away a few of the sweets to enjoy later! The tea is pricey, but as other reviews have stated, you're paying for an experience - not just a meal. Our server was wonderful, and the servers take photographs of you as part of the experience. Beware though, that the gratuity is automatically added to your tab, and somehow the bill came out to be quite a bit larger than expected.

Daniel served us the charcuterie tower. Yummy combination of items—meats, baby pickles, horseradish mustard, manchego cheese, blue cheese, Parmesan cheese, honeycomb, fig jam. Daniel mentioned that the bar tender is gifted—especially with spicy drinks. I want to try the hibiscus drink next time. Beautiful dining experience.

We have stayed at lots of nice hotels, this is one of the most ornate lobby lounge areas anywhere in the United States. Most people visit for afternoon tea, we stopped by for an after dinner drink and some dessert. The service, as usual, during our visit to any of the Grand American Hotel establishments, was fantastic. The Lobby Lounge at this hotel is a special must visit attraction in SLC for a super fancy drink or dining experience. We couldn't recommend a stop here highly enough!

There were 2 adults and 3 kids that came and attended the princess tea time. It was a memorable day. We loved the princesses, getting to make necklaces and even dance with the princesses. We loved the food, the only thing I’d change is I’d prefer the same sandwiches as what the kids had plus the cucumber sandwiches. Everyone was very friendly. We loved the tea time especially having the princesses we hope this continues.

My daughter and I have done Tea at Grand America for years. We always look forward to this relaxing experience. We attended on June 11, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. The afternoon started as we had expected with the harp music and a quiet relaxing time. Our waitress was wonderful as was the food.
About an hour into our experience, a group of about six men came and sat at the setting to our right. They were loud and dragging their suitcases with them. When they sat one of them proceeded to put his feet upon the table where food is served. More people began to arrive and the volume increased. Not a one of them ordered anything just using the space to visit.
I have a hard time believing that there is not an appropriate place in Grand America for such a gathering to occur and leave the Tea space as a relaxing place not where Fraternity guys can act as if they are at the local bar. I hope the management will consider addressing this issue so that future events are not less than what we expect from your venue
