We had not been to Log Haven in years. We are finding a restaurant each month to dine out. A GREAT choice. The food was excellent and well prepared along with the presentation. For as busy it was, we were surprised that the noise level was fine. Our server, Savanna, was excellent! My wife asked her about several items on the menu and she explained with an unbelievable description. Thank you for an enjoyable evening of dining.
We were a little disappointed but still relatively good. My duck was very gamey and my husbands steak didn't have a lot of flavor. I know the menu changes a lot so maybe we just picked a time when the menu didn't suit our taste. Our server was not very friendly and everything felt rushed as well. We will probably be back when we the menu is more our style.
We celebrated a special anniversary with friends and family in this beautiful setting and enjoyed a memorable evening. The menu offered a variety of dishes and everything we selected was delicious and the staff was friendly and efficient. This restaurant never disappoints!
Fue una experiencia maravillosa. El lugar hermoso. El ambiente muy agradable. La atención excelente. Una gran noche que recordaremos siempre. Y volveremos.
When spending $78 on a filet it's a bit frustrating to feel nickel & dimed for the small things. We have always loved the bread and butter basket at the beginning of the meal, so now having to order it as an appetizer at $3 a roll was a bit surprising, and my wife ordered a soda, which when brought was completely filled to the top with ice, which she promptly drank in couple of minutes. She asked for a refill (which came back with the same amount of ice) and finally asked for one more refill toward the end of the meal. It's been a long time since I have been charged at a restaurant for each refill, so I was quite surprised to see it happen here.
The menu was good with great descriptions, but the food was rather bland. The sides were quite good: the brussel sprouts were fantastic, and the beans were surprising. However, the salmon and duck breast were overcooked, and the steak was underseasoned. At this price point, the seasoning may not be perfect but should be present. The service was great and ambiance very nice. It is awkward when leaving and the person I brought to celebrate their birthday is not interested in coming back. oopsi.
Loved all of our dishes.... I might just let people know that the “Nachos” (house made chips) are Potato Chips, not corn tortilla chips. That was the only thing not perfectly clear. I thought my meal was a plate of nachos in a non-traditional bake (mushrooms onions and cheese—all quite Delicious!!) but the potato chips were not at all the expectation, a little too heavy as a meal replacement. That was the only SLIGHT disapointment.
Wonderful place to have dinner, my wife and I were in town for a medical procedure and were able to enjoy a nice evening together.
What a lovely way to spend Thanksgiving with Family at Log Haven. The cozy cabin vibe paired with a 5 star dining experience made for a memorable evening. Delicious cocktails and the turkey dinner was amazing!
Excellent restaurant for a special dinner. The best attention, extraordinary and beautiful place and the food very delicious. 100% recommended 😎👍

Everything was perfect! The Bison Sirloin was delicious, cooked perfectly. We also had the Alpine Nachos, a must, different and very good.
Mediocre service on an anniversary dinner. Limited server contact and it was needed. Possibly the toughest Strip Steak ever served and no one to speak to about it.
We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at Log Haven and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Our server, Johnny did a great job of answering our menu questions and provided guidance on our choices. The fillet and chicken dishes were both incredible. It had been years since we had been there, but we need to treat ourselves more often. If only they could do a second location closer to Daybreak.....
Dont think there is a better restaurant with the sort of cozy cabin mountain experience than Log Haven. Food is always delicious, service outstanding and atmosphere cant be beat.
This place gets a lot of hype and good reviews, and they are all correct. We came for the special atmosphere, hoping the food was a as good as past reviews. A high quality restaurant tucked into the mountains, delivers on quality food and service. From presentation to flavor profile - each dish was amazing. There were 4 of us. We had the pork, a filet mignon, the scallops and a NY strip. Each dish was uniquely designed, and beautifully plated. And of course dessert was equally wonderful. I highly recommend Log Haven in Salt Lake City.
