We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at Log Haven and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Our server, Johnny did a great job of answering our menu questions and provided guidance on our choices. The fillet and chicken dishes were both incredible. It had been years since we had been there, but we need to treat ourselves more often. If only they could do a second location closer to Daybreak.....
Dont think there is a better restaurant with the sort of cozy cabin mountain experience than Log Haven. Food is always delicious, service outstanding and atmosphere cant be beat.
This place gets a lot of hype and good reviews, and they are all correct. We came for the special atmosphere, hoping the food was a as good as past reviews. A high quality restaurant tucked into the mountains, delivers on quality food and service. From presentation to flavor profile - each dish was amazing. There were 4 of us. We had the pork, a filet mignon, the scallops and a NY strip. Each dish was uniquely designed, and beautifully plated. And of course dessert was equally wonderful. I highly recommend Log Haven in Salt Lake City.
From the moment we walked up the tree lined stairs, it was magical. It felt like an adult tree house. The view was amazing. Lovely music softly playing, attentive wait staff, and delicious food. Best scallops that we ever had. We look forward to going again.
The overall experience was excellent, From the moment you enter the restaurant, the service, food, and atmosphere was amazing.
My fiancé and I visited log haven for our three year anniversary this past time. We have made this a tradition for us since our one year anniversary and we will continue to celebrate our anniversaries here in years to come.
Based on all of the reviews I read, I was prepared to be wow'd by Log Haven. Unfortunately, I was not. It was a tired and average "fine dining" establishment that seems to have stopped really trying. The food was good, definitely not great. My steak was chewy. Service was accetable. Views were pretty. It is not a place I will make a point to go back to nor would I strongly recommend to anyone. It was acceptable, but nothing to write home about.
one of the most spectacular, quaint and intimate locations and restaurant venues ever! Tuna Tartare appetizer is out of this world with flavor and freshness. The filet is the best filet we have ever had. We brought my wife's mother from TN and she was so impressed with the quality of the food! There is a reason Log Haven sits a top the charts for awards.
Our server, Juan, made our evening very special. He took great care of us. The food was amazing. The location was gorgeous. The only thing I wish I could change about Log Haven is that I wish the tables were a little further apart, but I would highly recommend Log Haven.
My husband and I had dinner to celebrate my birthday. Service was excellent. They were gracious enough to replace a glass of port when it my husband made an error in his order. Our steak entrees were very good. I highly recommend the roasted brussel sprouts. Dessert (brioche bread pudding) was excellent.

It was a very good meal, but a few things could have been executed better! The bison was tough. The New York strip was over seared, green beans were extremely tough. Bartender didn't know how to make a sidecar. The cream on leige waffle dessert was over whipped and curdled.
The food was great though not the best I've ever had but the service and the ambiance can't be beat
Coolest place I have ever eaten at. Went for a date and will DEFINITELY be coming back for another date soon!
Wonderful experience. Have been trying for years to get a reservation. It was worth the wait. Great food, great ambiance, great service. Thank you for making my wife's birthday special.
Incredible experience all around. The food was excellent, the ambiance was both rustic and delicate. The outside seating next to the natural small waterfall was next level. A bit pricy but worth every penny. 10/10.
