We went to the terrarium class and it was fun and the food was good. I spent a lot of money on my terrarium. About $170. It got bugs within the first week and the plants died by the end of three weeks. I have a lot of plants and they usually do great. My sisters died as well. Don’t waste your money on their class. Now I have an expensive terrarium I don’t know what to do with.

Throughout my wedding planning process, I stressed about many things—but never anything LUX handled. They were my sanctuary and support. The catering tasting they provided was the first time I truly felt like a bride, a celebrity, and that feeling continued throughout my entire experience with LUX. If you’re looking into their classes, I have to say it’s a scam. They charged $60 just to get in the door and have someone explain to put rocks under the dirt in a terrarium and how to read signs that say how much water a plant gets, but you have to pay for every individual piece of material in the terrariums you built. Built one of the cheapest terrariums there and it was $98 more. Was the two hour experience worth $158? Not a chance. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, they need a lot more price transparency.

Lux catered our dinner and bar for our wedding in July! The food was AMAZING, so were the drinks and dessert. We ate the leftovers on our honeymoon the night of the wedding. All of the staff were great from the start of planning to the end of the wedding!
However we rented tablecloths from Lux and while the main tables (coral) were absolutely beautiful, the tablecloths on the serving tables (light blue) looked cheap and they didn’t steam/iron them, so they don’t look amazing in photos and felt like an afterthought.
