Really cute family owned restaurant. Thai Iced Tea and Drunken Noodle were solid.

This restaurant is the most authentic Vietnamese establishment Utah has to offer; I strongly recommend the drunken noodles. You can taste the fresh of the ingredients with every bit. The cleanliness is through the roof. I posted a few pics to show the order ad structure of this establishment even during rush hour.

My husband and I stumbled across this place while staying at a nearby hotel. The taro milk tea is quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The yellow curry and Thai soup were great as well. The portion sizes are generous.

We used to have a little routine in college where we would go to the mall just about every weekend and eat at the food court. However, we’re now planning on skipping the food court to come here instead.

We came here last minute and I’m so glad we found it. The portions were great. The flavors and freshness were amazing. Five people in our group and everyone loved it. I had the beef brisket massaman curry. Huge serving! And sooooo good. We will be back. Cute downtown location, too.

Dietary restrictions: Had vegan, gluten free and nut free people in our group. All found something delicious to eat!

I've dined at Shim Thai several times over the past year, and it has become one of my go-to spots for consistently delicious food. The food was very good, with every dish prepared to perfection. However, the standout for me was the Pad See Ew. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the flavors were well-balanced, and the portion was generous. It’s easily one of the best versions of the dish I’ve had in a long time.

Beyond the food, what truly sets this place apart is the owner. They were incredibly kind and genuinely cared about ensuring every guest had a great experience. It’s not every day you find a place where the owner takes such a personal interest in their customers, and it made the meal feel even more special.

My family and I ordered Thai food for dinner. The food was so delicious! Highly recommend their brisket. It was very tender. The owner later told us that they cooked the brisket for hours to assure the perfect texture. I don't eat spicy so I ordered a pad Thai. It was compatible to those I have had in Bangkok. The portion of their dishes is big, which is nice. We ended our dinner with sticky rice with mango dessert--a must do in Thai restaurant. It was yummy. Perfect dessert to conclude our Thai dinner.
My family and I had a great time and we were all liking the food. A must go next time when I am in town again!

The restaurant doesn't have parking so prepare some time to park nearby.
