Prepare to have your culinary expectations redefined. My visit to Manoli's in Salt Lake City was more than just a dinner; it was a transportive experience to the heart of authentic, modern Greek cuisine.
From the moment you step through the door, the ambiance wraps around you like a warm embrace. The lighting is soft and inviting, and the decor strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and contemporary elegance. It's the kind of place that feels special enough for a celebration, yet relaxed enough for a casual evening out.
The menu is a masterful showcase of fresh, high-quality ingredients. I began with the charred octopus, which was tender and smoky, perfectly complemented by a bright lemon-herb vinaigrette. For the main course, the lamb chops were an absolute revelation—cooked to a flawless medium-rare, seasoned with a divine blend of spices, and so succulent they practically melted in my mouth. We also shared a variety of meze dishes, each one a small work of art. The spanakopita was flaky and rich, and the dolmades were unlike any I've had before.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that made our dining experience even better.
Manoli's isn't just a place to eat; it's a destination for a truly memorable culinary journey. This is a must-visit restaurant for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in Salt Lake City.

The presentation of the food is solid and drinks are pretty good. However, I believe that it is somewhat of a crutch to mask how the food tastes vs how it looks. The Dolmades are not great, it's like you're chewing through 5 layers of grape leaves to get to the filling. Not even a comparison to the ones at Mazzah. Peppers are great but you should get like 5 for the price of 3. Scallops were on the smaller side albeit tasty. Overall a bit overpriced for the value of food you get, imo.

Amazing food here. Lamb burger and the cod gyro was delicious and so were the meze. Loved the ambience.

Everything was amazing. The Bloody Mary, the orange juice they make was the best OJ I've ever had, breakfast sandwhich was on point and the chicken dip lunch was probably the best entrée. Josh and Hesh along with the other crew members just killed it with service, quality and experience! Definitely will be back, and cannot wait until that day!!

Wonderful Greek food! The staff was very attentive and very helpful in answering our questions about food and drink options! The owner even came and talked with and we had a lovely conversation about our mutual friendships and about Greek Festivals! Highly recommend and we will be back with friends for sure! Bill Barnasakis! 😉

Last time, I didn’t mention the staff’s negative attitude during our meal. But this situation made me speak up.
The food is one thing, but people’s behavior can ruin the entire impression of an establishment. My wife was walking past this place and had an unpleasant experience. She is also pregnant, and when she came in and politely asked to use the restroom—explaining her situation, which was clearly visible at her stage—the staff member (a woman with curly hair, short haircut, average height) told her she needed to buy something first before she could use the bathroom.
She was just out on a walk and didn’t have her card with her. I understand they may want to keep homeless individuals or people misusing substances out of the bathrooms, but where is the humanity? My wife doesn’t look like someone who’s homeless or a drug user.
Then they called the manager (a man with red hair, a mustache, and a slim build), and he told her the same thing. Shame on them! There is no respect for customers! After being treated like this, we will not return to this place again.
I had heard before that the staff “have no soul”—now I believe it.
Being a high-end restaurant isn't about being heartless! It’s about making reasonable decisions, being kind, and serving good food!
Excellent Greek restaurant with flavorful and traditional foods and a stellar list of Greek wines. Try everything!

What a fun evening at the Chef’s Counter! Was nice to chat with the chef and watch the magic happen in the kitchen. Friendly staff and delicious food! Lamb ribs, fried cheese and artichoke, branzino fish was wonderful. Loved the plate sharing concept. Will return!

Oh My God. Thanks God, we found this place.
I’m a Greek so I believe I can feel what taste should be.
We went there in a weekday with my partner and one of our friend. The ambience, atmosphere is so elegant. I feel that classy restaurant feeling on the spot.
They are super kind, and helped you to sit immediately, thanks God there wasn’t a waitlist. The busser lady got us water very fast, and server gave us enough time to see menu. When she came back, she introduced us the menu and Greek meze concept - my friend didn’t know.
Our server’s name, I believe, was Ricky.
She was an amazing person.
Represented restaurant in the best way, amazing friendly attitude and helping intentions.
All the food was amazing, dolmades - grape leaves - were amazing. I would personally prefer more sour, but that’s still very original Greek taste.
My partner got lavraki and I can clearly say their fish is really great. Taste good, very fresh, and cooked exactly great!
I also got Psomi, grilled Greek pita breads..
God, honestly, I asked for two times..
Maybe one of the best pita breads I’ve ever tasted in United States.
I don’t know which flour and mix they use or where they cook but that’s the most amazing one. Very honest.
Olives are good, they could also have some black olives, too.
It’s upset that they don’t have only-beef keftedes. I expected variability on that one, if we consider different dietary choices. And my grandmother was doing beef only keftedes so I know that’s possible.
And lamb burger exactly gives you what it promise! Really good taste.
Their alcoholic cocktails are also amazing - cannot exactly remember the name of my drink but that’s was great, so I asked twice.
Trust Ricky’s suggestions on that one.
So overall, this restaurant is probably one of the best Greek restaurants in United States.
Definitely will come back!
Thank you guys, amazingly great job.
