Very cool place. Went first thing in the morning and it was a little slow. Still, coffee and waffles were pretty good but nothing amazing. Other options looked great for lunch.
Great divey vegan fare. Open late!

Solid meal of fairly standard vegan food, everything was tasty enough
The atmosphere is really cool but the food is outstanding. Got the onion rings as an appetizer which had a really good sauce that came with and that was amazing and then got the Chicken Ranch Sandwich with the spicy aioli and it’s literally one of the best vegan chicken burgers I’ve ever had. The fries were great, I also tried the animal style fries and the spicy chicken wrap which was good!
enjoyed the beast and a chicken ranch sandwich with fried pickles. will be back our next time in SLC
Randomly driving by on a road trip and saw their rad, huge, classic, sign and decided to grab dinner. We got a burger, fries, and onion rings. When I say these were the literally most legit onion rings, take it from a former chef. House made patty was a refreshing divergence from the typical impossible or beyond burger. Everything was considerately prepared, absolutely perfect and delicious, the staff was wonderful and the environment was old school punk in a comforting way while also being clearly clean and cared for. Can’t recommend enough. We’d go here hella regularly if we lived closer. 10/10
Ps. My literal only “complaint” is that their prices are TOO low, for all that you get. Grabbing food from here feels like a steal ???

I used to love this place. I've tried going here three times during the past few months. Every single time they are either closed (weird hours), or a bunch of stuff is out of stock, making half the menu unavailable. It feels like it's being run into the ground.
Edit: Out of curiosity I went and checked my Google Maps timeline to double check. It was actually seven times. Seven times I've tried to go here and couldn't, the last three were just more recent. The review complains about how I'm NOT able to contribute and would like to. I'm literally trying to give you my money and you are making it so I can't. Maybe making it so customers can contribute, instead of being a combative keyboard warrior, would help quite a bit.
Last edit since your responses are getting pretty childish. This is exactly what reviews are for. Just like how I updated it from 5 stars to 1, I can change it back. Customers leave reviews with good and bad feedback. You can choose to be a professional and act on that or not (what you've chosen is pretty clear). If the issues get addressed, then reviews get updated. I think it's pretty clear you're upset because you know the feedback is legitimate, and your "dirty laundry" is being aired.
Lastly, when leaving the review that's what I expected, a legitimate concern to address issues and I would go back and change it, because that's what a professional business owner would do. It's pretty clear you have no intention of addressing it, and will just try to harass and argue your way around it. Initially it was a small disappointment that I hope got addressed. Now, I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know, do not eat there. Not because the food and service weren't great (when you could get it), but on principle. Because the owner is extremely petty, unaccountable, and unprofessional. And all I will need to do is point them to this response to prove it.

We shared the meatball sandwich and the buffalo ranch wrap. The buffalo wrap was quite tasty but the meatball sub was one of the best I have had in 12 years of being vegan. The texture, flavor, and assembly were amazing. I want to try more! The Oreo shake was also delish! We will be back for more!

Great comfort classics done well, loved the quesadilla and the burger.
This place is a divey metal bar and I say that in the best way possible. The vibe is excellent and there are a lot of cool people to meet and talk to. They have live music on the weekends, too! The food is all fried but it’s really good. I’m glad I got a chance to stop in while in SLC!
