The food was really good don't get me wrong but it wasn't worth the cost overall hence the 3 stars. It ruined the vibe to not have meat in every bite and to charge extra for garnishes that are supposed to be on a Philly is upsetting.

I haven't been to Maxi's in years, and I don't know why. Decided to stop in the other day on a whim.

Everyone was so nice, and they even accommodated a sandwich request that was not on the menu.

I'm not very judgemental, but I do review places on two factors.
How many pinball machines they have, and how good the rueben sandwiches are.

Prices are fair and affordable, and the utah rueben was great.

I don't eat out much, but I think I may make a weekly exception to stop in here.

The only reason I gave a 1 star review was due to the lack of pinball machines.

I've always loved getting food from Maxi's I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was given an extra cup of the jalapeño aoili which I have never had before, I will be ordering it everytime going forward! I was disappointed with the manager chastising the employees in front of me for giving me .50 cup of aioli, it may not be part of protocol but there it is always better to give feedback to employees when not in front of customers.

Maxi's is my favorite go to for lunch and for catering with my company. Their food is always delicious and they offer pretty generous portion sizes. The staff is always super friendly when I come in. Cannot recommend Maxi's enough.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The worst food: poor quality, sizes that are for children under 5, food tasted bland and very cheap ingredients. If we had our choice we would want to put this as credit card fraud; because it really was. IT WAS UTTERLY DISGUSTING.

This place is awesome! If you haven’t been I definitely recommend it. I worked nearby for years and would order from Maxi’s a pretty fair amount for staff meetings and other functions. I got to know the owner pretty well because of this. (I mentioned to the owner ONCE that my boss really liked their jalapeño aioli, like he would put it on basically anything.. and we’d always end up with a few extra of those whenever we ordered even on the order we got today!) So yeah he’s got a great business and he really cares about his customers and so does his team! [We have had a couple people with dietary restrictions (no gluten and vegetarian) and without fail if I didn’t mention that we needed a gluten free or vegetarian option they would ask!] Reliable and timely delivery and quality communication throughout the process is another perk of Maxi’s. The team always made sure we had everything when delivering. I think there’s only been like one time I’ve had to call about missing something in all the years I’ve been ordering, (I’ve been ordering from them for probably 4-5 years so one time is a pretty good track record!) I had placed a last minute order and they were willing to accommodate the order even though they had another large order they were working on that day! They were quick to see how they could best make it right! Needless to say, I don’t recall ever having anything that tasted bad or recall having a bad or even so-so experience at Maxi’s they’ve always been outstanding to work with and I will continue ordering from them even if it’s not as often now that our new location isn’t as close! I recommend the Cranberry Walnut Salad with grilled chicken added if you’re unsure what to get (with the poppyseed dressing of course)! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to your customers it doesn’t go unnoticed!

This was by far the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t even give it to my dog. We placed several orders for ourselves and our guests, and everyone was extremely disappointed. I’ve never seen a Philly cheesesteak served in a hot dog bun, and it had absolutely no flavor. I won’t be ordering from here again. The sandwich cost $10 before tax, but I wouldn’t even eat it if it were free."
Of course, what I received from the owner nothing except sarcasm “ We also do not recommend feeding our food to dogs as it is well known that human's food in general is not very good for human's best friends.” Shows how they really care about their business.
This order was for my employees and our visitors, and it was too bad, definitely will never order anything again from this place.
Make yourself a favor and do not get order food from this place, you will greatly disappointed.

I love maxi's! I've been coming here for over 10 years now! The food and the staff are top notch ! Plus they Got amazing coffee that's even more of a reason to stop in ! Food and coffee are the perfect combination ? thanks for continuing to make my experiences at maxis deli awesome ??

I went in yesterday afternoon, got a sandwich. It was so bland, poor quality of food, tasteless, exceedingly small. I sat there thinking why did I come in here: I was ripped off. I am seriously going to call my credit card company over this.Tell all your friends, beware of this place!!

Excellent place for lunch. Staff cares and seem to be enjoying themselves. Got the grilled chicken salad and you can tell a quality place by how crisp and cold the salads are.

I expected a “deli” to be fast casual or take out. It’s more like a small diner, so budget your time accordingly since it can take a while. They have an online ordering option I haven’t tried that may help if it’s safe/reliable. Food quality is decent if a bit pricey
