We had a truly spectacular experience at Monte. It saddens me to see the obvious spam reviews. That said, every expertly prepared dish showcased Chef Martins talent. An amalgam of flavor and art came through all 8 courses. What Monte is doing is truly spectacular and unlike anything else in Salt Lake. I hope they get the Michelin recognition they deserve!

Overall I had a fantastic experience at Monte. I decided to go with the long version of the winter menu, which was a good decision. Some of the highlights from the menu included the pasta in quail broth, and also the chocolate goat milk pie for dessert. Delicious food and great service!

It was an wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I love a tasting menu where the chef is in control, and this reminded me of a Michelin dining experience in everyway. The food was perfect, while also flavorful and very unique! Every bite was a fun conversation for us and I loved that they try to keep the ingredients as local as possible. It's a treat to be able to have an amazing restaurant like Monte in Utah.

Went for my birthday. We were the only table for the evening, so it turned into a private dining experience. I loved the whole vibe of the place with the music and the setting in a distillery. We did the long menu - 10 courses - with the wine pairing. Food tasted excellent. I like every dish. The venison tartare was my favorite. Also all the main items were a hit - the scallop, the pasta and the lamb. Presentation for each dish was beautiful. I've been waiting for dining like this to come to SLC. In the past, we've had to go to Vegas, LA or San Fran for this. Went to NYC last fall and dined at The Modern one night. Monte was a way better meal and experience.

This was our second visit to MONTE. What a wonderful fine dining experience! Their wine pairing added to the overall experience. It's hard to believe this is located where it is and that it exists in the State of Utah. Michelin should visit.
Love the calm atmosphere, the attentiveness of the staff, food was excellent, but you pay a lot for it so the value rating couldn't rank super high.

Salt Lake's most unique dining experience by far! If you are looking for an exclusive, chef driven 9 course dinner then Chef Vishal has you covered. Each course is a fresh take on classic, traditional South Indian food specifically from the Goa region. Each course wows your senses with lots of wonderful color, presentation and of course flavors. Highly recommended if you're looking for something new!
