I came down with horrible staph food poisoning a few hours after having breakfast (omelette with pancake) on 4/12/24. It was my first time at Millcreek Cafe. This was diagnosed by internal medicine doc given onset of symptoms and what I ate. My friends all had eggs benedict and did not get sick but they each commented during breakfast that the hollandaise sauce was cold. I will never eat here again. I haven’t had food poisoning for 20 years and forgot how horrible it is. I notified restaurant and SLC health department.

Good service. The food is pretty good. But they are cheap with their toast. They give you one piece of bread cut in half and for the price of a breakfast you should get two pieces. My bacon was pre-cooked and overdone.I guess I should Specify how I like it cooked.I only tip well because they probably don't pay their staff very well as with most restaurants. My tip has nothing to do with the food quality or preparation. It's just for the staff!!!!

Had a great experience for brunch this morning! Came around 12 on Sunday. Definitely crowded but they were turning tables like pros. The staff were incredibly polite and cordial from the beginning. Didn’t make us feel rushed or unwelcome. We were seated in maybe 10 minutes. Our server was really nice I wish I could remember his name. Caleb maybe? Food was great. Also really fairly priced. Definitely coming back asap.

So Disappointed in this place, our regular server (young blonde) was friendly and hardworking. However, halfway through our meal she asked how we wanted our bill split. Not my favorite but not a big deal. The kicker was the minute we signed our check some random older dark haired waitress came up and said “when there is a wait, you can’t stay here and talk, thanks” in such a rude manner. Then we started putting on our coats and saying goodbye at the table and SHE CAME BACK and said “ladies you really need to go, we have people waiting” all well two tables were next to us empty with no one being sat at them.I worked in the service industry and nothing is worse than people that camp out at tables. I am 100% when I say we were there maybe 5 minutes after we signed our check finishing the coffees we PAID for that they didn’t rush to get off our table. Total time there after being sat 45 minutes. Unacceptable. Two women were also asked to leave after paying their bill.Food wasn’t bad but I would pay double to never deal with that lady again.

I’m disgusted with how we were treated here. We were at the restaurant for less than 45 minutes and had just finished checking out when a waitress aggressively grabbed our checks and told us to leave because there were people waiting. There were 2 empty tables right next to us. If she had requested us to leave in a kind or respectful way, I would not be writing this review. Her impatience was abrasive and uncalled for. I will never be eating here again!

The food was nothing special. And we had been there less than an hour and barely finished our meal when we were asked not kindly to leave because people were waiting. There were 2 empty tables next to us. I will not be returning ever.

Food is alright, but they charge a 20% service fee on CARRYOUT orders.. if you're looking for carryout there is 'over the counter' right down the road if you're not trying to pay a 20% tip without actually getting any service...
Great food. Try the chicken fried steak, the sauce is the best ever. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. The absolute best place for breakfast and lunch.

This is a place worth going out of the way for. We ordered the huevos rancheros and pancakes. I’d love to try more of their menu, and may need a few more visits because I would probably order the same thing again. Our server, Maddox, was very personable, and attentive. He was also engaging with our somewhat indecisive little ones.

Best veg patty melt of my life. They have a great veggie burger that can be used with any of their burgers. Highly recommend!
