We had such a great experience at Monarca! From the small plates to the shareables, everything was on point. We tried the ceviche veracruz, tostaditas de atún, guacamole, esquites de elote, empanada, and sopesitos, all super flavorful, fresh, and beautifully put together.

For the main, I went with the carne asada, which was delicious, especially with the demi-glacé sauce. It paired perfectly with a glass of Malbec.

But the real player of the game was the cheesecake, absolutely amazing, especially with an Americano on the side!

And shoutout to our server Kaylie! She’s the sweetest and made the whole experience even better.

Met some friends for lunch on a Saturday. I got lucky with parking and found a spot right in front of the restaurant. My friends had to do a bit of walking.
The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and the staff is very attentive and helpful.
We weren't offered the full menu, but had good options to choose from.
We ordered an appetizer of guacamole and chips. The quac needed salt, but I was ok with that because I don't eat a lot of salt. I ordered the birria tacos and they were perfect. Beans and rice weren't included so I had to order them on the side. The refried black beans were tasty. The rice was comparable to other places.
One friend ordered the enchiladas and was very happy with them. The other had the chichi. She said it was different front what she was expecting.
The prices were what you'd expect for city dining. I think mine was around $20 for the tacos and the sides of beans and rice.

Eight service members stood around while one man brought out food out at one dish at a time. 3 of five meals came out and then we waited for 15 minutes before the last two were served. They messed up the order and then took 20 minutes to get one lemonade. Not impressed.

During our visit to the restaurant, we thought our server forgot about us. We ordered queso, which did not taste very good and could not get our server attention to get a salt and pepper, which was also not provided on the tables. And they’re also doing a photo shoot. They had set up lights And we’re photographing food, which was incredibly weird and if you’re trying to sell some sort of ambience, they totally missed out. it was a strange experience won’t go back. It wouldn’t recommend it. Go to Taco Bell.

To have to wait more than 10min before even being acknowledged by any staff is frustrating, to see “friends” walk in and immediately get drinks and be served is unsurprising but irritating nonetheless, but to then follow it up with subpar food and drinks is simply egregious. The server was good once they got to the table but not a place I would recommend for the price

Went in to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the service was stellar beginning to end. From the moment walking through the door and being greeting by our hostess, to our server, and even down to the people bringing out our food. Our server Jules was attentive without being overbearing, kept our waters filled, and brought out a birthday dessert without being prompted (which left both me and my wife beaming)

The food was very good, the atmosphere was nice, and the service overall was good. However, when it came to asking the waiter about certain items that were supposed to come with the dishes such as the molcajete salsa they didn’t seem to understand. One of the dishes specifically mentioned it, but nothing came on the platter.

There were also a couple of other small issues. For example, I asked for a Coke with no ice, but it was brought with extra ice. When I pointed it out, the waiter apologized and said it was on the house, but we never received the Coke without ice, which made things a bit awkward.

Other than that, the food was great and the service was above average. Maybe the staff just needs a bit more training on the menu and what each dish includes. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’ll definitely come back and give it another try.

STADLER US Inc, made a large group reservation and other people had reservations as well. We reserved a week before. the night before they cancelled our explanation for a larger group than ours and others. You know it is not easy to find restaurants for larger groups, but MONARCA cancelled everyone's reservation. In my book that is bad business, and we as a business have now MONARCA blacklisted and our 550 employees are aware to not every make reservation again. And those employees will tell their friends and family. STADLER worldwide has over 15 000 employees and we bring in from other locations employees and none of them will ever set foot in MONARCA. Also, our Atlanta Metropolitan Transit guests were appalled, and they also travel to Utah in teams, and have blacklisted your restaurant internally. Just wanted to make others aware of what is not ok in business, I hope it was worth it.

Found Monarca on my way to another restaurant as I had struggled to find healthy vegan options. After reviewing the menu, I found a salad & tacos that could be modified to make them vegan. I was thrilled to have found Monarca - staff, interior design, service and food exceeded my expectations. I flexed my diet so I could enjoy the Flan de Elote, well worth the flex!! Special thanks to Lilly, Elmer, Finley & Gio for making my visit memorable.

This place is utterly incredible! Food and signature house margaritas were top notch. The waitstaff (Stephanie) was absolutely amazing! Extremely knowledgeable about the menu and cocktail recommendations. Having the new pastry chef come table side and explain the delicious dessert menu was a nice touch. Overall definitely worth the price. Will definitely recommend this place and looking forward to eating there again.

Awesome food and staff, good atmosphere, prices are not cheap, but the food is worth it unlike most restaurant experiences these days. They even gave us a birthday churro (it was my birthday). Very tasty! If you need it spicier consider asking for a side of roasted hot pepper.
