Truly my favorite sushi place I’ve ever been to. The service has been impeccable, getting food within 15 minutes of ordering, as well as super helpful and respectful staff. The sushi as well is incredible, texture, flavor, variety, they have it all. Price is totally doable. Especially the 5$ late night promotion, it makes dining altogether an ideal experience. Not your ordinary hot pot restaurant…there were a ton of fresh vegetables (sprouts, mushrooms) and vegetarian options (veg miso broth, tofu at the bar). The server even brought a small vegetarian selection (pickled vegetables, edamame, green beans) when she learned of my preference. I’d definitely go back.

Customer service is horrible. First, who in this day in age doesn’t take phone orders and makes you walk in to place the takeout order?! Called, was told they don’t take phone orders but it’s only a 5-10 min wait. Arrive, order, told it’s a 25 minute wait after placing the order and paying. Explained this isn’t what we were told and wouldn’t have come if we knew since we have a baby, the man at the front desk was so rude, said that he thought we had a single roll order when we called, I explained that’s because he interrupted me before I could finish ordering to tell me they only take phone orders. Asked if there’s any way he’s able to push this to the front of the line given the crying baby, he tells me this is my fault for not sharing my whole order over the phone and I’ll have to sit down and wait the full 25 minutes, and it doesn’t matter what he quoted me on the phone because this is the true wait time. Needless to say won’t return and wouldn’t recommend.
