This place is a bit of a curiosity in the best way. It has a strange charm, like it’s not trying too hard but still manages to pull in a really mixed crowd. You’ll see older folks who seem more reserved sitting next to loud college kids just out to have a good time. Somehow it all works. It feels like a safe space, especially for queer people, which is something I really appreciate. The drinks are strong, maybe stronger than you’d expect, and while the bartenders aren’t exactly warm, they get the job done. The whole place runs on its own energy. It’s definitely a vibe.

After asking the bar tender if what we were ordering would take long to cook as we were a bit tight on time for a show, but wanted to grab a bite and a beer before. After nearly 30 minutes after ordering and still no food, we payed for the entire meal and beer and told them we would need to leave in 10 min. After 40 minutes we ended up leaving and never saw food. I hate to rush meals, and no blame to the bar tender who checked with the kitchen several times. My only complaint is they charged me for the entire meal, and did not refund any part of the check.

Joe Passay wouldn't let me or my homie into a show. Gave some lame ass exscuse why we couldn't come in. 0-10 for all services!! Treat your patrons better!
Cool local bar, great daily drink specials, different events nightly (Wed was trivia and local comedy night). Very friendly staff and tasty good-priced food. I'd love to see the scene on a weekend.
Not too many cozy pubs in Salt Lake, and this is a gem.
Friendly staff and owners, good food at reasonable prices. Not crazy about the choice of entertainment on the TV for us old timers.
