I went to pick up my order. I gave them my name and was immediately given a hard time because the person at the front insisted they didn’t have an order for me. I showed them my order number, and the employee abruptly replied that they did have that order, but not under my name. They said the name on the order was “Son ja.” I corrected them and explained that my name is pronounced “Sonya.” The food was great, but I was left wondering why I was being rudely corrected on the pronunciation of my own name.

Honestly I love this food so much! It’s delicious and so fresh always. The quality is so beyond good I haven’t had a bad experience from this place ever. Each time the food is so fresh and tastes consistently delicious. The noodles they use at by far the BEST!!!

The employee at the front was very unprofessional and argumentative when I asked for help to check my Uber Eats order pickup status in the back. He refused to go back and check the order status and all he told me “it’s not ready” and continued to scroll instagram on his phone while he was working. I persisted to ask for help and he just got frustrated with me while sitting in the chair.

we ordered to go. we walked in and the restaurant was humid and completely empty. upon ordering $70 of food, we ate none of it. the potsticker was enormous and the worst thing i have ever put in my mouth, the cream cheese wonton was soggy and bad, the egg rolls were cold and wet, and the fried rice was so bland but the only thing edible. after this experience we quickly abandoned the beef and broccoli, and threw the rest away. i would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was so genuinely terrible.

I'm in SLC for a few weeks. I just got my kidney transplant so I'll be kicking it in the area for a while. With my time here, I must find all the local Chinese joints to hit up and eat at. This joint is one of the few dim sum joints in town. Dim sum is something we don't have in Boise. So with that being said, I will be making sure I come back to have some! But for tonight it's dinner.
We did come more towards early dinner. It was pretty empty which was nice. The venue is an older joint. You can tell it's been around and done it's time. Usually a clear indicator that the food should be good! I'm not supposed to be around a lot of people so the fact it was empty made me feel comfortable eating here. We walked in and were greeted. Homie wasn't the nicest but he got us sat. The menu is quite huge! I love all the options available. And the prices! The prices of everything was reasonable.
As much as I wanted something huge and hearty, I ordered the won ton soup with egg noodles. I thought the broth would be good for my soul since I have been living off of hospital food for the last week. I don't think my stomach could handle such a big, hearty meal. Nothing sounds more delicious than 7 or 8 different dishes with a huge bowl of steamed rice.
The won ton came out in these big beautiful white bowls. You can smell the sesame oil from the broth. You see chunky pieces of the won ton. A good portion of egg noodles. And gracious portions of bok choy.
The broth hit so good with that first sip. It was rich and savory. You can tell that broth had been cooked for a long time. The won tons were not lacking. They were meaty and salty. You get 6 big pieces of won ton. The noodles had a slight chew to them which was nice. Soggy noodles isn't it! I enjoyed a majority of my broth. I did eat a won ton and some of the noodles. That's all my stomach would allow.
I'm so torn about how many stars I would give. The food was definitely a 4 but the service was a 2. We were not greeted nicely. The gentleman that served us didn't even check up on us. He was actually kicking it in the waiting area playing with his phone. It was another server that helped us when we were done that was actually kind. He was interacting with us, got us to go containers and our bill. I feel like that's your basic baseline of service and our original server failed.
I know I will be back. I have read the reviews about their dim sum and they seem pretty legit. I enjoy the carts of dumplings and fried vodka being pushed around . The sound of people's chopsticks hitting plates. The loud noise of eating and being merry. It's the sound of my childhood growing up in the Bay Area and u can't wait to relive it! I guess I will finalize my ranking in a couple weeks when I got this joint up. But for today, they were ok with food and service combined.

This food was un palatable. The dumplings were so full that i couldn’t force myself to swallow them. The potstickers made my poor father nauseous. This place was also seriously disgusting, the lobster were dead, and the tanks they were in were disgusting. Mold on the ceilings, dirty carts, dirty plates, horrible service. For your own well being, don’t come here.
